Manchester United and Juventus are keen on signing Real Madrid playmaker Isco Alarcon this summer, according to reports from England and Italy.

The Spain international has lost his spot in the starting eleven since Zinedine Zidane arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu. Although he is getting minutes of action, he usually starts on the bench.

According to the latest rumours, the 24-year-old is not happy with this situation and he could consider leaving the Santiago Bernabeu should he receive an interesting offer.

Manchester United and Juventus are aware of this and might have started contacts to sign the playmaker. Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has revealed Juve would be ready to offer up to 40 million euros to bring the Andalusian.

The Italians are also considering a switch for Alvaro Morata. Real will have to pay 32 million euros this summer if they want to buy back the striker, and Juve could use that to cheapen Isco’s deal.

Meanwhile, British tabloid Daily Express has claimed Isco is amongst the players that Jose Mourinho has requested United to sign for next season. Yet, the Red Devils are also interested in James Rodriguez, and it seems highly unlikely that they will sign two players of such similar characteristics.

Isco has a running contract with Los Blancos until 2018, but Florentino Perez could be willing to let him go if a good offer comes.
