Bayern Múnich are already thinking in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Real Madrid. In two weeks time, we’ll see the first leg between these two giants and the players are already getting ready for the clash.

Not only the footballers and the supporters are looking forward to the games but also the bosses. Bayern Munich president, Uli Hoeness, spoke with the Spanish newspaper As about the tie and the feelings of Carlo Ancelotti to face his former club: “He knows Real Madrid and the players. Besides, he has a great ambition to kick them out because his farewell wasn’t very pleasant”, Hoeness said.

The boss is very confident to go through the semifinals because of Ancelotti’s experience and he claims revenge after the semifinals in 2014: “In sport is normal. Carlo is very relaxed, he calm us down and says that we are going to achieve it”.

Hoeness admits that he didn’t want to face Real Madrid so early in the competition but Bayern Munich are ready for the clash: “As I use to say ‘the ones that want to arrive to the final know that they have to beat any team’. We are in a good form and we have to confirm it with good results”.

Ribery: We cannot afford any mistakes

Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery also spoke about the clash in the magazine Kicker. He’s confident about the tie: “If we do it right, we have a great opportunity. But against Real Madrid you cannot afford any mistake. In the football there is no revenge. In 2012 we won in the penalties. Many players can make the difference. Everybody knows how is this game”.

The winger also spoke about the relationship with the manager: “He is always happy when we win, even if we haven’t played well. We analyze how we can improve but he’s always positive. Everybody is happy and we enjoy the time on the pitch. The coach sets the example. He speaks a lot with us and he also has fun”, Ribery said.

According to a large number of media sources in Spain, Real Madrid have agreed to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea during the summer transfer window. The Spanish Giants have been tracking the Belgian midfielder for a long time and they are now ready to make their move.

It has been an excellent start in managed by the legendary ex-world player of the year Zinedine Zidane. The manager is a huge fan of Hazard and sees the player as the missing piece to help the team dominate La Liga.

Reports have suggested that a number of meetings have taken place over the last few weeks and now both parties are keen to put pen to paper. Chelsea will not let their star playmaker go without a battle though so it is going to take a huge bid in order for Zidane to get his man. Madrid tried to sign the player during the summer transfer market last campaign but was unsuccessful. They are hoping that this time around they are able to agree on a deal for the 26-year-old.

It has been reported that they are so confident that a deal can be reached that a school along with house has been found for his family in Madrid. The playmaker will be difficult to replace and if they lose Diego Costa at the same time it will be a big rebuilding job for Conte. The two players are one of the main reasons why the Blues sit 10 points clear at the top of the EPL.

It is believed that Madrid are willing to include a deal for Jame Rodriguez along with cash to sweeten the deal. Conte is a fan of Rodriguez so it could be an attractive proposition for the club. Hazard has been great this season but last campaign he was dreadful so the club could be tempted to make the switch.

The Belgian star playmaker is tied to Chelsea until 2020 so he will not come cheap. It is possible that Real will have to beat the £89m world record fee paid by Manchester United for Paul Pogba if they are going to secure the player’s signature.

Chelsea will not want to make too many changes to the team that has dominated the EPL so far this season. If they do sell one of their star players he will have to be replaced and there are not many available with the skill that Hazard have.

Many bookmakers have stopped taking bets on Chelsea to win the EPL this season. With the lead they have, it would take a dramatic collapse for them not to win the title. Colombia suffered a lot on Thursday to beat Bolivia in the qualifying game for the World Cup of Russia. The ‘cafeteros’ team is struggling to get the ticket for the next tournament and the stars are facing big criticism, especially Real Madrid player James Rodríguez, who has confronted the journalists.

James Rodríguez scored the winning goal (1-0) against Bolivia. He missed the penalty but the goalkeeper couldn’t keep the goal and James was able to find the net in his second goal. This goal didn’t avoid heavy criticism from the journalists. After the game, quite nervous James Rodríguez gave the journalist a finger. This gesture, obviously, wasn’t receive kindly by the press, who is attacking the Real Madrid player.

Some months ago, James Rodríguez was only happy when he played for his national team. Actually, after some good performances, he took the chance to criticize Zidane and his lack of opportunities with the white t-shirt. José Peckerman, Colombian manager, also sent some messages to the Real Madrid boss.

The situation has changed now. Colombia are struggling to qualify for the World Cup and they are now in the fourth position of the table. They might risk not getting the ticket to Russia because they only have one point more than Chile, who are now out of the qualifying positions.

James Rodríguez play again with Colombia on Tuesday (22:00, UK Time) against Ecuador in Quito. This is a key game for Peckerman’s side because Ecuador are just one point behind so, in case of defeat, they will drop from the qualifying positions.

This hasn’t been an easy season for James Rodríguez. He doesn’t have Zidane’s trust and he is on the bench in the most important games of the season. Besides, after the FIFA Clubs World Cup he announced that he could leave Real Madrid for the lack of opportunities. Now he is fighting to have some minutes in his club, whereas he faces some controversy with Colombia.

Zinedine Zidane wants Eden Hazard and Florentino Pérez is willing to make his coach happy. The Belgian midfielder has said several times that he’s very comfortable in London, so Los Blancos need to convince him that he could be happier in Madrid, sharing the dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale and fighting for the Champions League every year. The first step is done and the players knows that there is a big interest from Real Madrid. Now, Chelsea bosses have to be opened to listen offers and Hazard needs to be convinced of Zidane’s new project.

After all the rumors that linked Isco with Barcelona, the Spanish playmaker spoke at press conference denying any negotiation with Real Madrid’s rival. Florentino Pérez has prepared a new contract. He offers Isco a six year contract (from 2018, when his current contract finishes, until 2024, when Isco would be 32 years old), with a salary around €6M per season. This salary practically triples what the player currently perceives in Real Madrid, and which would imply a notable quality jump for Isco in the salary scale of squad. Los Blancos want to renew Isco because they know he can be a very important player in the squad and because of his good performances since his signing from Malaga in 2013.

It looks like Isco is very happy with this new contract but he has said to the Club that they must wait because he has to study the offer. Real Madrid hope that this offer can convince to the Spanish playmaker. Many important European teams are very interested in his services, and Real Madrid have offered this new contract with the purpose of closing any negotiation with other clubs, specially from Barcelona.

Real Madrid have recently renewed almost all their key players of the squad and they hope that this new contract can also convince to the Spanish player, despite Isco is not in Zidane’s usual starting 11. However, Iso has showed that he is capable of taking responsibilities in the squad. His almost 180 official games, and his role in the finals of the 10th and 11th Champions League are one of the reasons why Florentino Pérez wants to renew him.

It will not be easy to convince Isco because he is having many offers from other teams, and he knows he is a good player, who needs to play more minute continuously. The Spanish playmaker is not satisfied with his current role in the team (the 15th in the ranking minutes played this season with 1568) and he dreams being in the usual Real Madrid line-up. Isco has said to the Real Madrid that he will give an answer at the end of the season, waiting to know what will be his role until June.

Nacho has been in the last years Real Madrid’s fourth full back and  also more recently  the main replacement of Marcelo in the left back when the Brazilian is absent. His versatility has allowed him to play in several positions of the pitch and we can say that every time that Zidane introduce him in the line-up he has played very good games.

Few players are reminded that being a usual substitute can offer such a high level when the managers believe in them. Nacho has also played important games and his performance has been very good, highlighting his great concentration. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in Portugal’s victory (3-0) against Hungary in the qualifying game for the 2018 Russia World Cup. Real Madrid’s star achieved the record of being currently the active player with more goals in a national team. Pepe also played the full 90 minutes in the full back.

Cristiano scored the second and third goal of the game with two brilliant long shots, one with his left foot and the other one with his right foot, both unstoppable for the Hungarian goalkeeper. Real Madrid striker scored the second goal for Portugal in the first half from a lovely left footed shot after a great assist of André Silva. And in the 65th minute he scored the third one from a brilliant long free kick.

With these two goals, Cristiano adds 70 goals in 136 games with Portugal’s shirt and he becomes in the fourth European player to score more goal with a national team, after beating the Irish player Robbie Keane, on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo has just ahead Puskas, who scored 84 goals with Hungary, his compatriot Kocsis, who scored 75 goals with Portugal and the German striker Miroslav Klose who scored 71 with his national team.

In addition, he is the top scorer of the current qualifying round for the 2018 Russia World Cup with nine goals, being the reference in Portugal’s attack. We must add that Cristiano Ronaldo is the active footballer with more goals with a national team.

After achieving the last Euro played at France, Cristiano is having very good performances with his national team. Nowadays Portugal is a very tough side, and if Real Madrid striker is fit and with confidence, they are one of the best national teams in the world.

Portugal will play again on Tuesday a friendly match against Sweden. It looks like Cristiano Ronaldo will not play this match because it’s not oficial, so Fernando Santos will introduce the rest of the players who didn’t have minutes in the official game against Hungary.

Isco played a great game yesterday with Spain in the qualifying match for 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Real Madrid playmaker started the game on the bench but in the last 20 minutes he entered on the pitch substituting Iniesta, and he scored a brilliant goal, his third one in 18 games. After the game, he spoke at the press conference and he denied all the rumors that link him with Barcelona.

Isco started the press conference ruling out any rumors on a transfer to Barcelona:” Players are aware of rumors, we are used to it, now that is less football during the break, some people have to invent stories. These days without league fixtures, the media tend to find out stories anywhere”, Isco said about the rumors that link him with the eternal rival, FC Barcelona.

The Spanish playmaker who scored the fourth goal of Spain, seemed very happy to be in the national team after seeing that Lopetegui trusts in him and also for the important victory Spain achieved against Israel.

Many Real Madrid players are currently playing qualifying games with their national teams for the 2018 World Cup of Russia. Actually, there are sixteen players who have been called by the national teams. Toni Kroos: Before facing Azerbaijan in the official game for the World Cup of Russia, Germany played a friendly match against England, where Löw’s team won 1-0 with a goal of Podolski (in his last game with Germany’s shirt). The Real Madrid midfielder played the full 90 minutes being a very important player in Germany’s midfield.

Marco Asensio: The Majorcan playmaker started form the beginning in the friendly match Spain Under-21 played against Denmark. Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal played the full 90 minutes, while Morata and Nacho must wait for their opportunity in the friendly game Spain will play against France on Tuesday.

Keylor Navas: The Costa Rican goalkeeper didn’t play a good match in Costa Rica’s defeat against Mexico (2-0).
