Two times European champions. This is a great season for both Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe, who who the Euro2016 in Paris after beating France in the extra time thanks to a great goal scored by Éder only ten minutes ahead of the final whistle.

It was not an easy night for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid striker had all the responsibility on his shoulders after bringing Portugal to their second continental final in their history. However, Cristiano suffered a knee injury in the 15th minute of the game. He tried several times to come back but he wasn’t able to run properly and he was substituted by Quaresma in the first half.

With tears in his eyes, Cristiano Ronaldo had to leave the pitch and trust their colleagues. He stayed the first half in the dressing room but came back to the bench in the second half as a captain to cheer their team mates up. It worked.

In the meantime, the other Real Madrid player in the pitch, Pepe, was one of the best footballers in Saint Denis. The full back was very strong in the defence along José Fonte and both worked really hard to keep the French team away from Rui Patricio. Pepe has performed a great tournament and fulfilled a great season after starting the year on the bench. He was a key player in the 11th Champions League and in the Euro 2016 for Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe jumped and shouted after seeing how Éder could score from outside the box the decisive goal in the minute 109th. Portugal became for the first time European winner with Cristiano Ronaldo as a captain and Pepe as the best defender.

Now, the Real Madrid striker has even closer the Ballon d’Or title. He won the very same season the Champions League and the Euro with a really important role in both trophies.

According to information published by Sky Sports, Real Madrid would have withdrawn the bid for the signing of French midfielder Paul Pogba, who would end up signing for Manchester United, ready to meet the salary requested by Juventus.

Real Madrid is considered to be unable to match the tremendous economic offer of the team that trains José Mourinho, who will pay 100 million euros for the transfer fee, plus €23M in various bonuses, which include variables and the substantial commission of Mino Raiola, player agent. In addition, Manchester United will pay the player 15 million euros per year and will sign for five seasons.

Sky Sports sources have confirmed that the team of Florentino Perez has accepted that it cannot compete with the Manchester United offer and Los Blancos have withdrawn the negotiations. Everything points to white set to divert the gaze towards the valencianista André Gomes as a substitute for the French midfielder.

The English media speculated tha Real Madrid would pay up to 50 million for André Gomes. Actually, André Gomes and Paul Pogba will see echa other in the Euro final in Saint Denis, in the game between France and Portugal.

Pogba would not be the first signing arriving at Old Trafford from the hand of Angri. This summer has already closed the signings of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. All these great players should help Mourinho in the goal on putting back Manchester United on the winning track. Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic should be enough for this.

Finally, Lucas Silva signing from Real Madrid to Sporting of Lisbon will not be effective because the Brazilian player has not passed the medical tests that was carried by the Portuguese team. The operation seemed closed this morning, but after more than four hours of medical tests, the Portuguese doctos discarded the signing due to a heart problem.

The midfielder, who had travelled to Lisbon to pass the relevant medical examination, did not pass the stress tests which was referred to it by the doctors of Sporting. After four hours of medical exams, the Portuguese club doctors did not consider suitable Lucas Silva.

This new setback is a problem added to the obstacles that it is finding Real Madrid to get rid of Lucas Silva, a football player by which paid 14 million euros to Cruzeiro in the winter market for the 2014-15 season and just came to play nine matches (424 minutes) with the white club.

After having just entered into Ancelotti’s, Real Madrid decided to give him on loan to Olympique Marseille last season. It was a request by Michel, who at that time was the coach of the French club. However, his poor performance came to cause that Marseille decided not to extend his contract and Lucas Silva finally had to come back to Real Madrid.

If Lucas Silva finally could come to an agreement with Sporting of Portugal, Madrid would manage to get rid of a player who does not fit into the plans of Zinedine Zidane. Now the club is facing a real problem because Sporting has discovered a deficiency medical that Real Madrid had not detected when the club bought the player from Cruzeiro.

Real Madrid and VfL Wolfsburg have reached an agreement for the transfer of the striker Borja Mayoral on loan. The youngster knows that he will have difficulties have continuity in Zidane’s squad so it looks favorably an output to have more minutes allowing him to continue with his promising progression, in a league as competitive as the Bundesliga.

Los Blancos should trust in the possibilities of Borja Mzyoral who could become a more complete player, and may return to the club of his life to be an important piece. At the moment, with the front occupied by Benzema and Morata, the canterano has seen with good eyes a loan . Also in Real Madrid, they believe that the Wolfsburg may be a great destination for Mayoral, since it is a team that in recent seasons has been located at the top of the classification and has made good performances in European competitions.

Borja Mayoral wants to follow the example of his teammate Dani Carvajal, who after leaving loaned for a season at Bayer Leverkusen and be named as best defense in the Bundesliga, returned to Madrid to become a fixed on the right side. This is the mirror in which the jewel of the quarry is regarded to fulfill his dream of succeeding in Real Madrid.

Borja Mayoral has become an important player of Real Madrid, highlighting in Castilla that, despite of not getting promoted into the Second Division, Mayoral has made a great role in the UEFA Youth League. scoring seven goals in eight meetings. This did not happen unnoticed for Rafa Benítez who made him debut in the first team and Zinedine Zidane who gave him the chance to play more minutes.

New signing Sergio Diaz is delighted to be joining Real Madrid, but the Paraguay starlet is yet to find out whether he’ll be joining the Real Madrid first team for pre-season or playing for the club’s Castilla side.

The 18-year-old is yet to be officially unveiled by the Santiago Bernabeu side, but Marca are reporting that the striker has joined Madrid from Cerro Porteno in a €6m deal. Should he feature for the first team, Diaz would be the first Paraguayan to feature for the current Champions League holders.

Marca said Diaz had a medical shortly after arriving in Madrid on Thursday and has signed a six-year contract.

The young starlet has a big reputation as a rising star in Paraguay and has already drawn comparisons with Sergio Aguero in his home country.

Speaking to Marca at Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez-Barajas airport prior to his medical, Diaz said: “I arrive at the most powerful club in the world to help and show my talent and that of Paraguay. I will give everything possible to do well.

“I still do not know who I will be doing the pre-season with. I guess I will be told in the next few days.”

Diaz has played for Paraguay’s U20s since he turned 16 and also featured for the U23s at this year’s Toulon Tournament, where he was one of the stars of the tournament.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his pre-season preparations, Diaz is very much looking forward to getting started with the Champions League holders. So much so, in fact, that he has already promised to give his all for the club during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu through a post on Instagram.

Diaz wrote on his Instagram account: “I thank Real Madrid for putting their trust in me and for giving me the opportunity to show my game in Europe.”

“I will give my all for a club where I always wanted to play.”

Spain may have crashed out of Euro 2016 earlier than they should have, but Sergio Ramos is still flying high – after trying out flyboarding while on holiday.

The defender missed an important penalty against Croatia with the score at 1-1, in a game that the two-time defending European champions went on to lose 1-2. That result saw them finish as Group D runners-up and set up a repeat of the Euro 2012 against Italy in the first knockout round.

However, there was to be no repeat of the 4-0 drubbing inflicted on the Azzurri this time – as the Italians were able to gain their revenge for that defeat four years earlier with a 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Giorgio Chiellini and Graziano Pelle, and inflict Spain’s first knockout defeat in a major tournament since 2006.

It’s not all been doom and gloom for Ramos though. Not only has he picked up his fourth Champions League winner’s medal following that penalty shootout win over bitter rivals Atletico Madrid at the end of last season, it now appears that the Real captain has perfected his superhero impression by mastering the art of flyboarding.

Posting on Instagram, Ramos unleashed his inner Buzz Lightyear by tagging the picture with “To infinity and beyond.” As this video shows, he’s definitely perfected the superhero pose and – much like he does with his defending at the Santiago Bernabeu – he appears to make the whole thing look effortless.

This appears to be just the latest talent that the 30-year-old has unveiled recently – after he recently showed that he more than matched Spanish teammate Gerard Pique’s partner Shakira in the singing stakes.

Taking a starring role in La Roja Baila, Spain’s song for Euro 2016, Ramos looked as if he’d have no problem at representing his country in the Eurovision Song Contest once his football career comes to an end.

Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague believes Paul Pogba would choose a move to Real Madrid over Manchester United, but thinks the Champions League holders could be priced out of a move for the French midfielder.

Pogba left Old Trafford for nothing when he fell out with Sir Alex Ferguson and failed to re-negotiate a contract, allowing the Frenchman to join Italian giants Juventus four years ago.

However, they have reportedly opened talks with the Serie A champions over a move and United are hopeful that their £100m world-record bid will be enough to stop Madrid from pursuing the playmaker.

Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is the 23-year-old’s idol and Real can also offer Champions League football next season, which is why Balague claims Pogba would prefer a move to the Spanish capital.

Speaking on Sky Sports New HQ, Balague said: “Pogba has made it very clear, to Real Madrid anyway, that he would like to be a Real Madrid player this summer.

“He has had conversations with Zinedine Zidane and he wants to play for Zidane.

“The problem is Real Madrid feel the kind of money that Manchester United is willing to pay for him is crazy and they cannot match it.”

Although, Pogba has reported been impressed by Jose Mourinho’s determination to make him Man Utd’s fourth summer signing – in addition to the possibility of a five-year contract worth £250,000-a-week, treble the amount of his current salary with Juve.

Pogba is still on international duty with France at Euro 2016, but his agent Mino Raiola has been trying his best to orchestrate a summer move.

Significantly, Raiola is said to have struck up a good rapport with United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward during the negotiations for two of his other clients – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mhkitaryan – to join the Red Devils.

Balague added: “[Pogba’s desire to join Real] doesn’t stop his agent from getting other kinds of agreements.

“It has been reported that Manchester United may have a personal agreement with Pogba and I fully believe that is the case, but it wouldn’t be the first time more than one personal agreement had been reached.

“In any case, while we’re unsure as to Raiola’s priorities, Pogba’s is to go to Real Madrid.

“We will have to wait a while to see how this pans out but one thing is certain, both Real Madrid and Manchester United want the player.”

Zinedine Zidane doesn’t want Lucas Silva to stay in the squad for the next season. However, the French coach wants all the players to be ready at Valdebebas on the 17th of July and after decide whether to bring the players to the pre-season stage in Montreal or leave them in Madrid to prepare the transfer.

The Brazilian player knows that he is not going to play for Real Madrid next season. In the last summer, he left on loan the club to play in Olympique de Marseille under the orders of Míchel, former Real Madrid legend. After a few months in the squad, the Spanish coach didn’t want him anymore and Lucas Silva had few opportunities in France. Actually, he played around 1.000 minutes in 22 games in Ligue One.

The French side didn’t want to keep the midfielder for another year, so he’s coming back after the holidays to Real Madrid. Now, the club needs to find another European team for the Brazilian player and Portugal might be his destiny.

The Portuguese team Porto has showed interest in Lucas Silva and, according to newspaper ‘A Bola’, both teams are already in talks. The idea is closing a deal similar to the one of Casemiro two years ago. So, Real Madrid will sell Lucas Silva with a re-buy clause instead of leaving him on loan in the Portuguese team.

The reason is that Los Blancos want some money back because they spent around €15M two years ago when they bought Lucas Silva from Cruzeiro in the winter transfer window. Porto current coach is Nuno Espíritu Santo, former Valencia manager, whose agent is Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese agent is already talking with Real Madrid to arrange the operation that should be done as soon as possible.

Lucas Silva played only 8 games and 335 minutes in La Liga with the white t-shirt in his first season in Spain.

Martin Odegaard will not stay in Real Madrid next year. The club and the player have decided that it will be better to leave this season and enjoy a lot of minutes in another team. The Norwegian player will leave on loan the club because Real Madrid still think that he could become a great player.

The youngster will not stay in Castilla, the second Real Madrid team, after failing to be promoted to the Spanish second division. Playing in the Spanish third division is not enough for his talent and it’s too soon to be member of the first squad. Therefore, Odegaard should leave the club looking for new opportunities.

The club prefers to give on loan Odegaard to any La Liga team. He could have the chance to adapt himself to the Spanish tournament and the club could keep a closer eye to his performance. Besides, there is a lot of competitivity in the Spanish tournament, something that could be beneficial for Odegaard

However, the player and his father prefer the Bundesliga, the German tournament. Some important European clubs are already interested in the Norwegian youngster and especially some German teams, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

Odegaard will start the pre-season training sessions with Real Madrid. Actually, Zinedine Zidane will take Odegaard to the stage in Montreal, Canada, on the 17th of July. Last season, Rafael Benítez also called Odegaard to the pre-season trainings in Asia and Australia.

Martin Odegaard is only 17 years old and he arrived to Real Madrid in 2015 followed by great media covering. He was the best player in the Norwegian League -he was playing for Stromgodset- and most of the best European teams wanted to sign him. Real Madrid arrived earlier and bought the talented Norwegian playmaker, who has already made his debut with the national team of Norway.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe are just one step ahead of the glory. Both players could finish the season lifting the Euro 2016 in one of their best seasons ever after winning the 11th Champions League for Real Madrid back in May.

Both Real Madrid players have been very important in the path to the final for the Portuguese team. Portugal showed a great defence against Croatia and Poland in the knock-out stage with Pepe shining with Southampton defence José Fonte as the full back couple.

And, obviously, thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo Portugal have arrived to their second European final in their history. The Real Madrid star was heavily criticized during the tournament but he scored two very important goals against Hungary in the last game of the Group stage and the opening goal in the semifinals against Wales with a great header.

Now, Cristiano Ronaldo can become even closer to the FIFA Ballon D’or if he is able to win the Euro in the same year he scored the last penalty in the Champions League final against Atlético de Madrid.

France is the favourite of the game according to the bookmakers. In Betfair we can find odds for Portugal to win in 90 minutes 18/5 and France winning 21/20. In the market who lifts the trophy, France have odds 4/9 and Portugal 11/1.

Another interesting market is the scorer. If Cristiano Ronaldo scores at any moment in the game, you can bet with the odd 15/8. However, Betfair is offering to their new customers an enhanced odds offer of 8/1 Cristiano Ronaldo to score.
