Real Madrid will might return to play with purple kit next season. It’s not official yet, but it has been revealed by Footy Headlines, a website specializied to reveal a lot of teams new uniforms.

Footy Headlines has also showed Real Madrid home kit, which is inspired by the very first shirts worn by Los Blancos in the early 1900s, but clearly the newnewss is the purple kit. Before Real started play with black kit as away, Real was known for purple kit, so it would be back to the past with a modern twist.

The last Real kit to be predominantly purple was the 2010-11 away kit, while the color is, together with blue and black. The Real 06-07 away jersey was the last primary alternative kit to be purple.

On the other hand, a traditional polo collar with blue trim rounds off the look of the Real next season home kit, which is combined with shorts and socks of the same style. The outer back of the collar of the Real Madrid 16-17 jersey reads the club name in a subtle manner.

Rafa Benítez will have nightmares when he thinks about the 2015/16 season. Last summer he joined his beloved club to win all the major trophies and improve Ancelotti’s performance. It was a hard task because the players and most of the supporters loved the Italian coach, but Benitez arrived with a good CV to the Real Madrid bench.

After a few months, it was pretty clear that the coach couldn’t handle the dressing room and the players. He was losing the squad and he was finally sacked. Zidane arrived at his position without chances to win La Liga or Copa del Rey trophy. However, in only six months Zidane won the Champions League and fought for La Liga trophy until the last game.

Zidane’s good performance was good news for Rafa Benítez. The coach has earned 600.000€ in a bonus for winning the Champions League, even if he left the club after the group stage. The players got the same money, but Zidane earned even more, 1.2M€.

With this money and his good salary at Newcastle, Benítez’s aim is to earn the promotion for the Magpies after being relegated to the Championship.

Diego Llorente was one of the best players for Rayo Vallecano this season despite the club couldn’t get away from relegation. Now Real Madrid have to think what to do with the defender.

There are several teams in La Liga, for example Villarreal and Málaga, that would like to take the youngster on loan for the next season. Real Madrid don’t even think on selling Diego Llorente because they see potential in the defender to take over Pepe’s work once the Portuguese retires from the club.

The 22-year-old defender played 33 games in La Liga this season scoring 2 goals. He can also play as stopper and he was a key player for Paco Jémez, Rayo Vallecano’s coach.

Zidane thinks Llorente could be a great defender for Real Madrid but it’s hard to spot an opportunity for him in the next season. With Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Varane and Nacho, Rela Madrid have already four players to cover the full back position.

Zinedine Zidane has to take many decisions in the next few days. After taking over Benitez’s job, the Frenchman didn’t have the opportunity to plan the season and had to keep going forward with his team. However, after lifting the 11th Champions League trophy, he has all the credit to plan the next season.

Apart from saying who should stay on the team or who should leave -he was very clear he wants Isco in the squad-, there are several youngsters that are waiting for Zidane’s choice to see where they will play the next year.

Martin Odegaard, the Norwegian youngster, played with Zidane at Castilla last season and arrived to Real Madrid as a star. Now the coach has to decide whether to keep him in the second team, promoting the Norwegian to the first squad or giving him away on loan to a First Division team.

Mariano Díaz or Borja Mayoral are the top scorers at Castilla -Real Madrid second team. Mayoral played already some minutes with Zidane in La Liga but his performance wasn’t very good. He might leave the club on loan to have more minutes in a top flight club.

Marco Asensio and Burgui played last year for Espanyol. Both were key players for the different coaches but it’s very unlikely that they could return to Real Madrid. Both are young so should stay another year on loan.

Finally, Diego Llorente and Jesús Vallejo also played really well for Rayo Vallecano and Zaragoza. Their performance might give them the opportunity to join a better squad next season.

James Rodríguez has travelled to Colombia with the idea of not coming back to Madrid. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, the playmaker has taken a decision of leaving the club after not playing any minute in the Champions League final.

James Rodríguez is used to be the star in the different teams he’s played for. Porto, Monaco and Colombian national teams are the examples of his status as key player. However, since Zidane’s arrival, James has been on the bench, something he doesn’t want for himself in the next season.

The Colombian footballer played 32 games this season, 14 less than the previous one, when he was very important for Carlo Ancelotti.

“I’m not here to be on the bench”, he said to his colleagues after the Champions League final, according to Marca. A sentence that sum up his feelings.

Real Madrid paid 75 M€ to Monaco two seasons ago, after the World Cup, so the club would like to recover the investment. Manchester United or PSG could be able to pay this huge amount of money.

Álvaro Morata wants to return to Real Madrid after serving two year for Juventus. The Spanish player is very clear when he talks about his options to come back to Santiago Bernabéu.

Now he’s focused on the Spanish national team and he scored another goal when Spain thrashed South Korea (6-1) in a friendly match yesterday. He’s in good shape and should be the main striker for Del Bosque’s team.

After the game, he spoke about his current situation: “I have already said that there is no player that would not want to play for Real Madrid, because it is the best club in the world”, he said.

Real Madrid have the option to buy the player this summer from Juventus at a low price. Zidane has to take a decision on whether keeping Morata to fight for a place with Benzema, Cristiano or Bale or sell it to a Premier League top club.

Isco

If James Rodríguez is set to Real Madrid, Isco will stay at Chamartín. Zinedine Zidane was very clear about the Spanish midfielder status at Los Blancos. “Isco is a Real player and is not leaving (Real) Madrid. We’ve just finished the season and haven’t had time to talk about the market or players who may be of interest to Juventus”, he said in Turin.

The 24-year-old midfielder was recently ruled out from the Spanish squad for the Euro2016 after his poor season at Bernabéu. Despite this, he played a few minutes in the Champions League final and he’s got more minutes to enjoy on the pitch than James Rodríguez.

Isco needs to come back after the summer with the strength he played with in his first season at Madrid. Little by little he’s been losing confidence and he’s lost his position in the lineup.

Besides, he might have more competitors next season with Real Madrid targettng Paul Pogba. Zidane’s think he’s a really strong players “He is a great player. Is he a player for Real Madrid? He’s a player for every team, but at this moment he’s a Juventus player and we have to respect that,” he continued.

Finally, Zidane also spoke about Morata’s situation: “He has grown a lot in Italy, where he’s played hard and well. He did very well at Juventus and they’d like keep him for at least another year, so we’ll see what happens in the summer. It’s not yet the time to talk about it.”

Cholo Simeone said in the press conference after the Champions League final that he was hesitating on keeping his position as Atlético de Madrid coach. The Argentinian said it was a failure losing two Champions League finals in three years.

After a few days, it looks like the coach was only asking for more quality player for his next project. If Atlético de Madrid wants again to fight with Real Madrid and Barcelona for La Liga and the Champions League, they need to buy good players.

One key position for Atlético de Madrid is the forward. Jackson Martínez left in January to the Chinese league and Fernando Torres is not at his best. That’s the reason why Atlético wants Gonzalo Higuaín to become his next star.

According to the Spanish radio station Cope, Atlético de Madrid would like to sign Gonzalo Higuaín, who has been the topscorer of Serie A this season scoring 36 goals.

Diego Costa, Aubameyang or Edinson Cavani are the other names Atlético is thinking for their forward line.

The Copa América starts this Friday and Chicharito Hernández will be the star in the Mexican national team. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player has done a really good season in Bayer Leverkusen and he has talked about his experience at Chamartín to the magazine Four Four Two.

“If I had more opportunities in Manchester United or Real Madrid I could have been the star”, he said to the magazine. “I’ve never had the chance to play 20 games in a row”.

Chicharito Hernández didn’t have indeed a lot of opportunities with Ancelotti. Only in a few games he was able to show his skills and he scored a decisive goal against Atlético de Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals.

“At Real Madrid I started 12 games and I scored 9 goals. At Leverkusen, I started 37 games and I scored 26 goals. The difference is that at Leverkusen they want me on the pitch. The others didn’t”, finished Chicharito.
