Daniel Carvajal, Alvaro Morata and Nacho are urging Malaga playmaker Isco to sign for Real Madrid, the youngster has said.

Speaking after his national side’s 3-0 over Norway in the semi-final of the European Under-21 Championship, Isco said the Los Blancos trio have been telling him to join them at the Santiago Bernabeu.

But the 20-year-old, who scored a spectacular goal to help his team through to the final, said his focus was with his national side and he refused to be drawn too much into transfer speculation.

He told reporters: “Those [Morata, Nacho and Carvajal] indeed are the guys insisting [for the move to Real Madrid]. We’ll see what happens.”

Isco also took time out to praise his teammates after the defending champions cruised through to another European Under 21 Championship final.

He stated: “We have earned it all on the field. Now follows the most important and beautiful thing, the final. I will not talk about myself only, but also the group, which is what makes us great.”

Spain’s most sold newspaper, Marca, claims that Real Madrid has already reached an agreement with Paris Saint Germain to sign Carlo Ancelotti as the new manager.

“Ancelotti deal done”, they claim. “Real Madrid representatives travelled to Qatar to close the transfer”, they state.

Both Madrid sports newspapers maintain that Arsenal have offered 30 million Euros to sign Gonzalo Higuain. “Wenger considers his signing a priority”, As titles.

Both As and Marca also highlight Real Madrid’s basketball team crucial game against Barcelona in the final of the Spanish ACB league, using exactly the same headline: “Match ball for Real Madrid”.

If Los Blancos win the fourth leg today in Barcelona they will bring the trophy home, as they lead the series 2-1.

Brazil legend Pele has said Cristiano Ronaldo should have won the 2012 Ballon D’or ahead of Barcelona forward Leo Messi.

In an interview with Madrid-based daily AS, the former Santos star stated Ronaldo’s form and success with Real Madrid in 2012 should have seen him secure the award.

The Portuguese attacker enjoyed a sensational season that year and led his team to La Liga success, with Los Blancos breaking records for both the number of points gained and goals scored.

Pele said: In terms of football, I say Messi, but in terms of successes I think Ronaldo deserved to win the Ballon d’Or. He won La Liga with Real Madrid.

“I was at FIFA presenting the award on two occasions. Cristiano was close on both occasions, but Messi always had more.”

Barcelona and Spain goalkeeper Victor Valdes has said Iker Casillas is in great form despite his lack of playing time in the second half of last season.

Speaking ahead of the start of the Confederations Cup this weekend, Valdes said in a news conference that having a fit and motivating Casillas in the Spain squad was a huge benefit to their ambitions of winning the trophy.

Real Madrid’s captain was dropped by former boss Jose Mourinho in January, with the Portuguese preferring to select Diego Lopez instead.

In a final show of the breakdown in communication between the two, Mourinho left Casillas out of the squad altogether on the final day of the season – even when Lopez was injured.

“Casillas is doing well, he’s the same as always, on top form and raring to go,” said Valdes.

He added: “He’s very motivated on and off the pitch. It’s important we have a healthy competition because that will benefit the team.”

Luka Modric has become the latest Real Madrid player to urge Spurs star Gareth Bale to sign for the club this summer.

A former Spurs player himself, Modric told Marca that signing Bale would give Los Blancos another dimension.

“Bale would fit perfectly, we could really use him. He is the type of player who will help us take a step forward. He would give the team another dimension. His shot, his strength, his speed, his offensive power,” he stated.

Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the Welsh winger, who scored 26 goals in all appearances for Spurs last season. Media reports have suggested the club would be prepared to pay up to 100 million euros for the player.

Modric added in the interview with Marca that he didn’t want to talk too much about Bale’s situation out of respect for his old club.

“It is a complicated issue for me because I was with Tottenham.  I can tell you we’re friends and he is an exceptional player. I guarantee it.

“And whether the club is Real Madrid, Tottenham or another, they can only win if they sign a player like that,” he stated.

Madrid sports daily As brings to its front page Brazilian legend Pele words about Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Santos player said the Portuguese “deserved the Ballon d’Or” this year, when Leonel Messi won it for the fourth straight time.

Pele also confessed he would renew Ronaldo’s contract as soon as possible and claimed that neither Messi nor Maradona have been the most complete Argentinian players of the history. “It was Di Stefano”, he said.

The second most sold Spanish sports paper also highlights that Malaga’s midfielder Isco has spoken about a possible move to Real Madrid: “I will make a decision about my future after the Under-21 Eurocup”, he confessed.

Marca emphasizes Ricardo Carvalho’s declarations in his farewell as Real Madrid player: “We [Real players] should have been more united in the bad moments”, the Portuguese admitted.

Edison Cavani would reject a move to the Premier League in order to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid, the Uruguayan striker’s father has admitted in an interview at Marca TV.

“Edison is in talks with Real and Manchester City”, Luis Cavani revealed at late night sports show Futboleros. “Napoli’s president have also told us about an offer from Chelsea, but nothing is certain yet”, he added.

“Edi’s intention is to join Real. He is excited about it. He has told us in private that he wants to play for Real Madrid but if he announces it publicly it will upset Napoli”.

Cavani’s father confirmed that they are expecting the two clubs to reach an agreement. “There has been contact with Real Madrid’s lawyers and now we are waiting for the two clubs to meet”.

“I hope it happens and that negotiations take place as soon as possible. Who wouldn’t want to play for Real Madrid?”, he concluded.

The main obstacle for Cavani’s arrival to Madrid will be his 63 million Euros buy-out clause. According to Luis Cavani, “Napoli won’t negotiate for any less”.

Polish international Robert Lewandowsky has turned down the chance to sign for Real Madrid, according to reports.

Goal.com revealed Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund had agreed a 30 million euro deal for the forward, who scored four goals against Los Blancos in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

But the 24-year-old apparently told Real Madrid he does not fancy a switch to the Spanish capital.

Champions League winners Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with the striker, although Dortmund have said they will not sell him to their domestic rivals. With just a year remaining on his contract, they may need to reconsider their options as he could sign on a free transfer in just 12 months time.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos’ search for a new forward will continue as they look for replacements for Gonzalo Higuain, who appear set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, and Karim Benzema, who appears not to be the club’s first choice for the 2013-14 campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo has denied a deal has been reached between him and Real Madrid over a new contract.

The Portuguese forward, who has scored over 200 goals for Los Blancos in just four seasons, posted a message on social networking site Twitter to deny a deal had been agreed.

Earlier this week, club president Florentino Perez had suggested the former Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United man would put pen to paper on a contract extension that would last until 2018.

The message posted on Twitter by Ronaldo said: “All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false.”

The news will give hope to a number of clubs wanting to secure his signature. Manchester United are known to be keen to bring their former player back to Old Trafford, while Ligue 1 side Monaco are thought to be ready to offer a world record 100 million euros for the forward.

Both Madrid sports newspapers put their focus in the latest declarations made by Cristiano Ronaldo, who admitted that all the news that have been published regarding his contract renewal “are false”.

While As shows the Portuguese’s words as their main story, Marca, who had previously published that Cristiano’s renewal until 2018 was almost done, brings as their first piece an exclusive interview with Luka Modric.

“Modric asks to be in charge”, they title. “Where I feel better is making the team play. I have no doubt that I will continue playing at Real Madrid”, the Croatian said.

Real’s midfielder also declared that Gareth Bale, who is a good friend of his, “would fit perfectly in this squad”.

As also publishes a story about Zinedine Zidane having asked Florentino Perez to sign Malaga’s playmaker Isco as one of the priorities for next season.

The Madrid daily also claims that Edison Cavani’s mother has admitted his son is in negotiations with Real Madrid and Manchester City.
