Real Madrid know that the young goal keeper, Rubén Yáñez, will not have too many minutes next season with the first team. Zinedine Zidane has two good keepers such as Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla, and Los Blancos are aware that it’s very difficult to give him the necessary minutes to grow as a player. Thus, they are searching a good solution and it’ possible that the Spanish keeper will leave the team on loan with the aim of not slow down his progression and grow in another team.

There are three teams who are interested in the services of the young goalkeeper. According to Cadena Copa, Rubén Yáñez likes the idea to go on loan or even being transferred to another side, because he knows that his will not have any minute this year with the two keepers Real Madrid have. Espanyol, Cádiz and Rayo Vallecano are the three teams that interested in his services.

It looks like Cádiz is the best election for Rubén Yáñez because  he will have the opportunity to grow as a player, despite they are currently in the Spanish second division. However, the Andalusian side is not the only interested, Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol are other possible destination for the Spanish keeper.

Espanyol have already two keepers, the former Real Madrid player Diego López and Pau López, who has recently returned to the team after being on loan at Tottenham Hotspur. For this reason, it looks like Barcelona isn’t the best destination for him because he will have a similar problem as the one he currently has at Real Madrid.

This will be the third season of Rubén Yáñez in the first team and it seems that this can be the last one. In fact, the Spanish keeper will not travel to Barcelona to the first leg of the Spanish Supercup, and Zidane’s son, Luca, will replace him as the third keeper of the squad.

After winning the first title of the year against Manchester United, Real Madrid will have another important clash next Sunday. The team managed by Zidane will face Barcelona in the first leg of the Spanish Supercup and the French coach will do some changes in the line up respect the European Supercup.

Los Blancos will play the first Clásico of the season and it looks like Zinedine Zidane will do four or five changes in his starting 11 with the aim of giving minutes to all of his players. A big absence will be Luka Modric. The Croatian midfielder will miss the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup because he was sent off in the second leg of the Spanish Cup of 2014 against Atlético Madrid. This will be a big absence because Modric played really good against Manchester United, showing that he is in a good shape and that he wants to do another amazing season.

In addition, it looks like that the French manager will do changes in all of the lines of the starting 11. In the defense Nacho Fernández or Théo Hernández could enter in the line up, with the goal of giving rest to Marcelo or Carvajal because they have played many minutes during the preseason. In the midfield,  with the absence of Modric, there are several doubts of who will replace him. It seems that Isco will repeat, because his performance in the European Supercup was amazing, being a nightmare for all Manchester United players and the MVP of the final. While in the attack, Marco Asensio could replace Gareth Bale who is not reaching the level expected in the preseason, and Cristiano Ronaldo could enter in the line up replacing Benzema. The French striker is playing quite good but he is nowadays the only striker of the team and Zidane don’t want to risk with his compatriot. Lucas can al start from the beginning playing in the right wing with Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker.

 

Los Blancos showed last year that they have the most complete squad of Europe and that this rotations will not be a problem for Zinedine Zidane. In fact, the French manager decided last year to use all his players and the results were extraordinary.

Zidane spoke at press conference after the victory against Manchester United in the European Supercup final. The French managed seemed very proud with the first title of the year, and he highlighted the good performance of the team in the final.

Real Madrid’s manager started the press conference talking about the final:” We played almost a perfect match, especially in the first half This team is hungry, and they always want more. At the end of the final we suffered but it’s normal because Manchester United are a good squad”, Zidane said about the match of his players.

The journalist asked Zidane about the celebration after the final:” We had a good celebration in the dressing room because we are not tired of winning titles. The key of the victory was the high pressure and the control of the ball in several moments of the final. The team worked very had and I’m very proud of them”, Zidane affirmed.

Isco was the MVP of the final an this is what his coach thinks about his renewal:”Yes, he deserves the renewal. He scored a brilliant goal and he played a very good final. He is growing with the pass of the games”, he said.

The French manager is already thinking in the first leg of the Spanish Supercup against Barcelona:” There are a lot of teams that can win us. We want to continue this winning streak and keep achieving victories, but there a lot of squads that can beat us. It’s going to be more difficult this year because we have a very tough match on Sunday but we want to continue winning.

Zidane decided to include Cristiano in the list but the Portuguese star didn’t play until the 80th minute: “He stayed on the bench because he has also trained three day with his teammates, but we wanted to see him with us. The important thing is that he is ready for Sunday’s final.”, Zidane said about Cristiano.

Real Madrid won 2-1 the European Supercup final against Manchester United at Macedonia. The team managed by Zidane played a really good clash if we compare it with the rest of the preseason games where they didn’t win any friendly match. For second consecutive year they have become in the European Superup champion.

Zinedine Zidane decided to introduce his best line-up with the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo who waited his chance on the bench after only three days with his teammates. Bale played as a left winger while Isco was the player who had to connect the midfield with the attack.

Manchester United started the game playing with more intensity that Real Madrid and having the first opportunities of the final. Mourinho seemed very happy with the performance of his players in the first 15 minutes, but when Modric and Isco started to have the ball possession, Manchester United had several problems to steal it. In fact, in the 15th minute Casemiro had the clearest chance of the game but the ball finished in the crossbar. The Brazilian stopper was being the best player of Zidane’s side and only 10 minutes later he opened the scored board from an assist of Carvajal, in a possible offside. After this goal, Los Blancos controlled even more the game and they were being superior, proving that in the finals their level grows.

Real Madrid starter the second half in a similar level as the first one. Toni Kroos had the first opportunity , but his shot finished in a corner kick after a brilliant save of De Gea. The second goal was going to arrive, and in 52nd minute Isco scored the second one for Los Blancos after a great assist of Gareth Bale. The Spaniard playmaker did an incredible game, being the guide in the midfield and having a lot of mobility. José Mourinho did several changes thinking in a possible come back, but Los Blancos seemed very confortable. In fact the team managed by Zidane had the 61% of the possession while Manchester United 39%. Suddenly, Lukaku scored the first goal for The Red Devils after a long range shot from Matic that was rejected from Keylor Navas. There were still many minutes remaining and it looked like Mourinho’s side was going to pressure a lot to Real Madrid.

In the 74th minute Zidane started to make changes in the line up, replacing Isco by Asensio and Baly by Lucas Vázquez. The French manager wanted with these changes more verticality with the goal of having a counter attack to finish the game. In the 81st minute Rashford had a great chance to tie the game but Keylor Navas saved Real Madrid with an incredible stop. Zidane decided to introduce Cristiano Ronaldo by Benzema, and we saw the Portuguese star very fit, and creating danger to Manchester United defense.

Finally, Los Blancos won the title in a very tough final where Zidane’s team was superior, but Manchester United had some clear chances to tie the game. Now Real Madrid must focus in he Spanish Supercup against Barcelona that will be played next Sunday.

Real Madrid will play next Tuesday the European Supercup Final against Manchester United, and this will be the first official game for the team managed by Zinedine Zidane in the season  2017-2018. Los Blancos are having very good performances in the finals and we will see if they continue achieving titles in an amazing decade for Real Madrid supporters.

The defeat in the Copa del Rey final on the season 2012-2013 against Atlético Madrid was the last time Los Bancos lost a final, with the addition of playing that final at Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid  suffered a lot after this clash, because they lost against a team in which they have a lot of rivalry and in their own stadium. This was a hard blow that helped to start a triumphant era for Real Madrid because since then, they have not lost any title in decisive matches.

Four years and three months after that final, Real Madrid are just a few days to play the final of the European Supercup being the currently European champion. It will be their third Supercup in four years and in the the previous ones,  Los Blancos ended winning the trophy after defeating Sevilla in both finals.

If we talk about the most recent Champions League finals, the story repeats. Zidane’s side has made history, reaching three finals in the last four editions, wining them all and becoming the first team who achieves two consecutive Champions League in a row. Five European finals in which Los Blancos have ended wining the trophy and we must also add another three of other tournaments, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Club World Cup successes.

This good streak of triumphs in the finals coincides with one of the most fruitful times of the club. The eight titles achieved in these eight finals have served to restore to Real Madrid the status that was lost in recent years because of Barcelona’s superiority.

Real Madrid have done an incredible season winning the double with La Liga, and the Champions League. This was a very difficult task, because Los Blancos had not won La Liga in the last five years and they are the first team who claimed for second time in a row the Champions League title. Now it’s the moment to evaluate the performance of the players during the season 2016-2017.

The second stage of Álvaro Morata at Real Madrid has lasted only one year, because he decided to leave Real Madrid with the aim of having more minutes in another side. Finally, he signed for Chelsea for an amount of around €80M, earning €8M per season. He will coincide with Antonio Conte, his coach in his stage at Juventus. He became one of the most expensive transfers in the football history and the most expensive sale in Real Madrid history. Many people wanted Morata to stay, but the forward left a lot of money.

The Spaniard striker wanted to triumph at Real Madrid but he didn’t have many minutes with Zidane. In fact, he scored more goals during the season than the Benzema but the French manager didn’t give him the continuity to become a usual player in his line-up. However, Morata decided to leave the team that supports since childhood but

His performance in the 2016-2017 season was really good, despite he wasn’t included in in the important games line-up. In fact, Morata played the games with the unusual players, being the reference in the attack and scoring a lot of goals; 15 in La Liga, 3 in Champions League and two in La Copa, adding a total of 20.

Álvaro Morata was a very important player last season but he had to stay on the bench in the key games. He could only play some minutes in the Champions League final and the lack of opportunities made him take the decision of leaving the club and try a new adventure in the Premier League.

Lucas Vázquez has been a very important player in the great year of Real Madrid, despite he didn’t have too many minutes during the season. The Galician winger is an example for all the players who usually are on the bench, because his behavior is amazing and whenever Zidane gave him the chance to play, his performances was very good, being the player who runs more kilometers per game.

Real Madrid’s youngster has played many games with the unusual players, but when Bale’s has been injured, Lucas or Isco replaced him in the right wing. We can highlight of Lucas his verticality, intensity and speed.

One of the key moments of his career was when Lucas shot the first penalty in the Champions League final in Milan against Atlético Madrid, proving that he has the confidence to shot an important penalty in a shoot out. However, Zidane decided not to include him in the Champions League final list of last season, where he had to watch the game from the stands of the Principality Stadium of Cardiff with two player who left the team, James and Pepe.

Lucas played many games in the last regular season being a player who entered the pitch several times from the bench, with the aim of revolutionize the matches. He played 33 games in La Liga (21 from the bench), 10 in Champions League and 4 in la Copa del Rey, adding a total of 4 goals in the three competitions.

We can say that it has been a good season for Lucas Vázquez, but it looks like the Spanish winger wants to have a superior role in the squad and that’s very difficult because Real Madrid have the most complete squad at Europe.

After closing a preseason without victories, Zidane did an interview to the UEFA where he spoke about the season that will begin in a few days, and the successes of the previous one, where Los Blancos won La Liga and their second Champions League in a row for first time in all Champions League history.

The French manager started the interview talking about the ambition of the team for next season: “We are in a very ambitious club. We all know where we are and after a great season, where we won two big title, we will try to do the same in the next one. We want to continue winning trophies“, Zidane affimed.

Los Blancos will have next week the European Super Cup against Manchester United and the French manager seemed very excited with the clash:” It’s an official game. It’s the first one we are going to have and we know it’s importance. The idea is to be fit and ready for August 8 and we are in the good way”, he said about the European Super Cup against United.

Last season, Los Blancos started the season with several doubts, and with the pass of the games, the team managed by Zidane improved their performance winning the two big titles of the season:” We started the season winning the Spanish Super Cup against Sevilla, then the Club World Cup, and that it helps, because in the league we started also well. The key was that we arrived to the end of the season very fit. In fact, in the second half of the Champions League we proved it being in a very high level. It was a show”, Zidane said about last season performance.

The interviewer asked Zidane if they are capable of winning the Champions League for third time in a row:” Of course we are capable. We are going for the third Champions League in a row“, he affirmed

The awards for the best players of the Champions League of last season will be next August 24, and the list of finalists has been published today on the UEFA website. After a great season of Real Madrid, where they won for fist time in the history their second Champions League in a row, there are six players of twelve who are nominated for the awards of the UEFA Champions League, and for sure the award of the best midfielder will be for a Real Madrid player, because of the three nominated midfielders, all of them currently play in the team managed by Zidane.

Real Madrid dominate the list, with six players of the squad in a a list of 12 players in total. The team managed by Zidane played an incredible Champions League in last season, where they knocked out Napoli, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus in the final and that’s why there are so many players included in the list. The performance Real Madrid players in the best club competition was amazing, highlighting Cristiano Ronaldo who scored 12 goals in 13 games.

However, the winners will be announced during the draw of the UEFA Champions League group stage on August 24 in Monaco. The candidates have been selected by 32 managers who participated in the group stage of the Champions League 2016-2027, along with 55 journalists. The prize for the Best Player of the Champions League will also be awarded, but the candidates will not be announced until August 15.

Real Madrid want to sign Kylian Mbappé in the current transfer market but the negotiation between Monaco and Los Blancos for the transfer of the French jewel have slowed down during last week. However, Real Madrid remain optimistic a deal can be done in a few days. There’s and impediment for Zidane in this signing. The French manager thinks that if finally Real Madrid decide to sign Mbappé, Gareth Bale must be sold because he doesn’t believe that the French player and the entire BBC are compatible.

According to Marca, there are two reasons why Mbappé is not already sign with Real Madrid. The first one is that the French side wants to sell his jewel for a very high amount of money, after seeing that PSG have recently signed Neymar for €222M. Los Blancos arrived to an principle agreement with Monaco, but the currently Ligue 1 champion wants to increase the sale of the player.

The other reason is that after the meeting Florentino Pérez and Zinedine Zidane had at USA, the French manger affirmed that he is happy with his forwards, despite Morata left the team signing for Chelsea. Zidane does not want to join four strikers of Cristiano, Bale, Benzema and Mbappé in his squad, because he consider that the managing the allocation of minutes between them would cause excessive conflict. Aso he affirmed that he wants to give minutes to players as Isco, Asensio and Ceballos, and if finally they sign the French striker, these players swill even have less minutes. Zidane thinks that the atmosphere in the squad is the most important thing if Real Madrid want to have a successful season as the last one.

If the club intends to incorporate Mbappe, a footballer with huge potential that Zidane knows well,  and fits the profile of the club, then one of the members of BBC has to leave the team. Bale’s injury problems mean that he is the chosen one and his performance since he arrived Real Madrid is not the expected one, so if Florentino wants to sign Mbappé he should also sell Bale. This sale will be good news for Mbappe, because he didn’t hide that he wanted to go to Real Madrid, but he has the only doubt about having enough minutes if he has to compete with a full BBC.
