It looks like Sergio Ramos will return with his teammates after being absent because of an ear problem. He will debut in the 2017-2018 season in the friendly Clásico on Sunday against Barcelona. Los Blancos have lost their two first games in the International Champions Cup, proving that the Andalusian defender is very important in the squad.

The team managed by Zidane had many defensive mistakes in the game against Manchester City, where Los Blancos lost 4-1, and many Real Madrid supporters are missing the captain in the defense. It was a bit weird that Sergio Ramos didn’t fly to United States with the other players who play in the Spanish national team (Nacho, Isco and Morata).He finally arrived three days later, and Real Madrid affirmed that they gave him more days of vacations because he played a high amount of game with his club and with his national team. But curiously, the Under 21 players arrived five days later than the captain, and they debuted last match against the team managed by Guardiola, where we saw Vallejo and Dani Ceballos debut with Real Madrid shirt.

Suddenly, a strange problem in his right ear appeared and it was because during the vacations with his girlfriend, they did scuba diving and he suffered a ear pain because of the pressure. When he arrived to United States, Real madrid doctors injected him cortisone, giving him 48 hours of rest. In his return to the trainings he was a bit unstable so he had to delay his debut.

Yesterday, he trained with his teammates and he looked totally recovered from the ear pain. In fact, he scored one goal in the training proving that he is ok for his debut against Barcelona. Sergio Ramos is a very important player Zidane and in the last match against Manchester City we saw many weaknesses in the defense so his return is great news.

After several rumors this week about Mbappe’s signing, Real Madrid are preparing a new contract to his currently striker,  Karim Benzema. The French players  is very happy at Madrid and he wants to continue a few years more in the capital of Spain. Los Blancos and Zinedine Zidane have arrived to the conclusion that Karim Benzema should be the next player who renews his contract, despite Florentino Pérez is thinking in a signing of another striker after Morata’s departure.

Karim Benzema has a contract until 2019 and Florentino Pérez wants to close his renewal with the goal of having the French striker in the next seasons. According to Marca, Real Madrid will renew the striker although they sign Kylian Mbappé. Benzema is one of the most valued players by his teammates and that’s why the club will do a big effort in his renewal. The player will renew for a five seasons deal, until 2022, this means that he will be at Real Madrid until he is 34 years old.

This renewal will be accompanied by a considerable increase in his salary because he is a very important player for Zidane and the French manager wants to count with him for the next years. Benzema will also be the fourth captain of the club this season, being a player who has been linked with Los Blancos since his signing form Olympique Lyon seven years ago.

In the toughest moments for Benzema, Zidane has always defended his player. Although last year he was the first change in the attack in the crucial games, the French manager trusts in him, being a key player in his line-up. Zinedine Zidane spoke at press conference after the defeat against Manchester City in the second friendly game of the International Champions Cup. The French manager spoke about the game against the Citizens, Mbappe´s signing and Keylor Navas good performance in first two games.

Zidane started the press conference talking about the game against Manchester City:”I’m not happy with the defeat, but it was not a bad match, just a bad result. They were superior at important stages of the game and we know we must improve. The good thing is they all played, the Under-21 half an hour. We are happy because there were no injuries. Just Kroos the other day. We do not like to lose, it is not important but we are a bit upset.” Zidane affirmed .

The journalist didn’t doubt about asking the manager about the huge amount of money for Mbappe’s signing: “I cannot answer you anything about the signing. I’m the coach, yo must ask to someone else. I don’t know if he worth ir but I can affirm you that I’m happy with my squad”, Zidane didn’t want to answer any question about the young talent.

Zinedine Zidane is very happy with his attack and this is what he said about the BBC:”I hope that BBC remains, hopefully all of them will stay, but everything can happen until August 31″, the coach said about the BBC.

Keylor Navas has started really good the season, being the best player in the squad in the first two games: ” He wants to star the season fit. In a career there are difficult moments, he has the virtue that he never gives up. This will be his first preseason for the first time since I’ve been with him. He is a very good keeper and this is positive for us”, Zidane said about Keylor Navas good preseason .

Zidane also highlighted the good preseason of the youth players: “They are all very good players. I’m happy with Oscar’s goal, with 18 years old sure that it’s a tremendous joy to score with the first team. They are very good and we are going to see them this year”, the French manager affirmed.

Real Madrid lost the second game of the preseason against Manchester City (1-4) in a poor second half where Los Blancos received four goals. The team managed by Zidane played a good a first half, but in the second one, with the entrance of the players who are not usual, Real Madrid seemed a bit disorganized.

Zinedine Zidane decided to introduce a similar line up as the one against Manchester United, with the absence of Kroos, who has a pain in his ankle. Casemiro was the players who replaced the German, while Kovacic played from the beginning instead Lucas Vázquez. Danilo played in Guardiola’s line-up after his departure from Madrid.

Los Blancos played a very complete first half, where they could open the score board with chances of Benzema and Casemiro, but Ederson, new Manchester City signing, had a great performance especially in the first half of the game. We can highlight the good match of Kovacic, being the player who was the guide of the midfielder, while Benzema and Bale were very active, being the references in the attack.

Keylor Navas also had a lot of work in the first half. The Costarican goalkeeper prevented the first goal of the Citizens with incredibles saves to Gabriel Jesus and Aguero, who were the most dangerous players. De Bruyne also was a nightmare because he was playing as the playmaker of the team, and no Real Madrid player was able to stop him.

In the second half, Carvajal had a great chance in the 49th minute, but only a few minutes later, Otamendi scored the first goal for Manchester City after a reject from Casilla from a header of Stones. Sterling, who entered in the second half, was being was creating a lot of danger, and after a good chance he had, the English winger scored the second goal from a great assist of De Bruyne. After Sterling’s goal Zidane changed the whole team to reward the effort of the young players against United and give minutes to the Spanish U21 players, where we highlight Ceballos debut. Only a few minutes later, Stones scored the third one in a very big mistake of Real Madrid defense.

Mayoral, Vallejo and Achraf had three great opportunities to shorten the gap, but in the 81st minute the young Spaniard talent, Brahim Díaz, scored the fourth goal for the team managed by Guardiola, from a good shot from out the box, unstoppable for Kiko Casilla.

At least, the good news was the amazing shot of Real madrid youngster, Óscar, who scored his first goal with Real Madrid in the injury time.

On Sunday, Real Madrid will play against Barcelona in their third game of the preseason. Although it is only a friendly, no one in Madrid likes to lose 4-1, so this means that Los Blancos must improve their performance because now they will face a tougher team as the one managed by Valverde.

After Morata’s departure to Chelsea last week, Real Madrid must sign a new striker to complete even more their squad. Without Álvaro Morata and Mariano Díaz, Los Blancos lose two players with high scoring ability. The transfer to another team is the most convenient option for Borja Mayoral, because it seems quite difficult that he can improve  Morata’s figures of last season. That’s why, Real Madrid must think in the signing of another striker and after the principle agreement with Mbappé for a huge amount of €180M, another option may be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang would be a very good signing for Los Blancos for several reasons. With just 28 years old, he is in the fullness of his career. His scoring ability is unquestionable. Last season he scored 40 goals in 46 games with Borussia Dortmund. In fact, his speed and verticality would fit in the offensive style of Los Blancos.

Due to his mobility, he would be compatible with Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch. Aubameyang will not offer the combined ability of Karim Benzema, but his goals and his speed would be necessary for Real Madrid next season. Borussia Dortmund striker would have a similar cost as Morata, who was sold for an amount of €80M.

Karim Benzema is being quite irregular in his performance and he his scoring ability is a bit low, if we are talking of the currently Real Madrid striker. While Gareth Bale, is having many physical problems since he arrival to Real Madrid. In these circumstances, Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player on the team who guarantees a high number of goals throughout the season, but we must affirm, that the Portuguese striker will turn 33 next January and this means that he will need rest periods with the goal of reaching to the end of the season in his best level, as last year.

For these reasons Real Madrid must think in the signing of striker next season and we think Aubameyang would be a perfect substitute of Morata in the attack. Who do you think is better for Real Madrid, Aubameyang or Mbappé?

One of the most important players in the squad, Casemiro, spoke at press conference the day before the second friendly game against Manchester City. The Brazilian stopper seemed very happy with the team Real Madrid have for next season and he highlighted different topics, as the possible signing of Mbappé and the arrival of a player who plays in his same position, Marcos Llorente.

Casemiro started the press conference talking about the first official game they will play against Manchester United in the European Super Cup: ” We are going to have several friendly games with the aim being ready for the clash against Manchester United” the Brazilian player said.

Real Madrid player didn’t want to talk too much about the possibility of Mbappe’s singing: “I cannot talk about a player who si not playing currently at Real madrid. I can affirm you that he is a great player but the BBC can also do a lot of damage. He is a very technical player but we have Cristiano Ronaldo, the best player in the world, Karim who has an incredible quality and also Isco, Bale and Borja Mayoral.

Marcos Llorente will stay next season with Los Blancos and this is what Casemiro thinks about the youngster:” He did a very complete season last year in his experience on loan at Alavés. I want to play everything, but Zidane is who decides. I think is a good incorporation because he will complete even more the squad”, Casemiro said about Marcos Llorente, player who plays in his position.

Casemiro also spoke about the absences nowadays of two key players as Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio: ” Sergio is the leader of the pitch. He has a pain in his ear and the doctors are aware of that. We miss Cristiano Ronaldo and we will give him a great welcome. He will be very fit when he joins us”.

Real Madrid have done an incredible season winning the double with La Liga, and the Champions League. This was a very difficult task, because Los Blancos had not won La Liga in the last five years and they are the first team who claimed for second time in a row the Champions League title. Isco has been one of the best players in all the year. After having several doubts about his continuity in Real Madrid because of the lack of minutes in the beginning of the season, the Andalusian player grew with the pass of the months and he became a key player for Zinedine Zidane in the important games, something unusual for him since his arrival to Madrid.

With Bale’s injuries during all the season, the players who replaced him in the line up were Isco or Asensio. With the the entree of the Spaniard midfielder in the starting 11, Zinedine Zidane decided to change the formation playing with a 4-4-2 instead 4-3-3. With this change, Real Madrid had more the ball possession, being a team much more secure.

We can a highlight the great performance he had in a match against Sporting Gijón, where Zidane decided to introduce the players who were having less minutes, and the Andalusian playmaker was the MVP of the game, scoring two goals and being the leader of the team. Monaco set up a very high price for the signing of Mbappé to another club. The release clause reached the €190M and it seemed quite difficult that any team can spend that amount of money in a player who is so young. However, According to Marca, Real Madrid have reached a principle of agreement with the French squad for the transfer of Kylian Mbappé.

If finally they reach to an agreement, this will be the highest signing in all the history with an amount of €160M with €20M in variables. A very high amount of money for a very young player who has only played one year as a profesional.

Zinedine Zidane gave the approval to the incorporation, because he has never hidden his admiration for his compatriot, but he also confirmed that it will be very difficult to manage an attack with four top players as Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema and Mbáppe. 

For this reason Real Madrid have also managed a second option, letting the young player one year more on loan at Monaco, a possibility that the owners of the French team like, Dimitri Rybolovlev and Vice Presidente Vadim Vasiliyev. However, after numerous conversations with Zidane and his meeting with Florentino Pérez at Paris, Mbappé is looking forward for a new adventure, affirming that he is capable of being in Zidane’s line-up.

Manchester City also want to sign the young jewel but it looks like he prefers to play in La Liga instead in the Premier League. Florentino Pérez is cashing a lot of money this summer after the sales of James Rodríguez to Bayern Munich, Álvaro Morata to Chelsea and Danilo to Manchester City.
