Asensio is being one of the best players in the preseason and after an amazing season in his first year playing for Real Madrid, it seems that the Spanish midfielder is ready to be in Zidane’s line-up in the important games. Real Madrid’s performance in the games played so far have been quite poor, confirming that they must find solutions for the European Super Cup against Manchester United. In fact, Benzema and Gareth Bale are currently the references in the attack, and both are showing that they are not in a good shape to be included in the starting 11 on the 8 August Final.

Marco Asensio shined playing this summer with the Spanish U 21 the Euro Cup, and after a year where he scored in all competitions, he is ready and qualified to become a new star in the team. He is only 21 years old and he scored last year 10 goals and three assists, proving that he is a player who can play in avery position in the attack, and as a playmaker.

Marco Asensio is an special player, who takes advantage of his chances and nowadays he can be a perfect piece in Real Madrid’s attack. Zidane must begin to consider whether it’s worth waiting for the return of the best version of Bale, or if instead he includes a quality and vertical player who has played very good games and who has an exemplary behavior, Marco Asensio. Real Madrid lost their third game of the preseason against Barcelona, in a bad match of the team managed by Zidane, where we saw many defensive mistakes and players who are not still in their best moments. Here you can read the performance of the players in the third game of the International Champions Cup.

Keylor Navas: He couldn’t prevent the three goals of Barcelona because they were unstoppable. Actually, he did two amazing saves to preven even more goals for the team managed by Valverde. He is being one one best players in the tour of United States.

Carvajal: Neymar was a nightmare for Carvajal, who failed in the second goals and he had several problems to defend to the Brazilian winger. In the preseason we are not being the same Carvajal of last year.

Varane: He did a complete game, and with Pepe’s absence in the team, he is gaining confidence in the squad. We must wait to the important clashes, to see if the French full back is in his highest level to face this season.

Sergio Ramos:It was his first game of the season after his ear ailment. He is not already too fit  to stop the MSN and he had several problems. Los Blancos had many errors in defense and Sergio Ramos couldn’t stop Barcelona attacks.

Marcelo: Marcelo also had many problems in the defense because he had to fight with Messi and that’s not easy. The Brazilian left back is in a lower level than last year, but it’s still soon to arrive to any conclusion.

Casemiro: Casemiro was a key player for this match, and his performance was also poor. The Brazilian stopper did a big mistake in Pique’s goal and he seemed a but lost in the midfield. .This was the worst game of Casemiro in the preseason.

Modric: He looked very tired when the first half finished, and Zidane decided to change him by Isco. Real Madrid missed the Croatian midfielder when they needed the ball possession during the game.

Kovacic: He was the MVP of the preseason Clásico. He scored the first goal for Los Blancos with a powerful shot. He seems qualified to play in Real Madrid starting 11 when Modric or Kroos must rest.

Asensio: Once again the Spanish playmaker had a very good performance, scoring the second goal for Los Blancos with a great run, where we saw his great  technical and physical condition. He is a player who need to play more minute because he can be the Real Madrid’s future.

Bale: The Welshman is dispseared in the preseason. His performance in this summer is worrisome. He is not being the player who can win you a game by his own. Bale must improve a lot if he we wants to be in Zidane’s starting 11 during the season.

Benzema: The French striker is having good mimutes in the preseason, but he didn’t score any goal so far. He must keep on working, because with Morata’s departure, Los Blancos need Benzema’s goals.

Nacho: He entered the pitch in the second half and we saw him avery secure in the defense. The Spanish defender can play in any position of the defense and Zidane know he can believe in him in every moment of the season.

Vallejo: It was his flirts Clasico in his life and his performance was good. The young defender is playing minutes and that’s the important thing when you are so young and you play with new teammates.

Lucas Vázquez: Lucas perfore was low because his mobility is not being the same respect last season.It looks like the Galician player needs more minutes but with Real Madrid’s squad it will not be easy to enter in a line-up.

Isco: He had two chances to score but Cillessen prevented them with two good saves. He looks fit and we hope Isco can reach the same the same level of last season, where he was the perfect substitute of Bale when he was injured.

Theo Hernández: He entered the pitch in the 77th minute. He is showing in every game that is a very fast left back, who can substitute Marcelo en certain games.

Achraf: He replaced Carvajal in a Clásico where he proved that he is right back who likes to attack, because he had certain mistakes in defense. He is still young and he can be a very good player.

Marcos Llorente: He needs to play minutes to gain in confidence. The forme Alaves player is a great midfielder who can replace Casemiro.

Ceballos: Zidane gave him minutes and he had a clear chance to tie the match in the 83 rd minute. In each game, he is showing his quality and it looks like that in the next game of the preseaso against MLS Alllstar, he will even play more minutes.

Óscar: He is the youngest player of the preseas and he scored a tremendous goal form out of the box. It seems that Zidane is going to give him more minutes because he has shown a lot of quality in the preseason.

Real Madrid have done an incredible season winning the double with La Liga, and the Champions League. This was a very difficult task, because Los Blancos had not won La Liga in the last five years and they are the first team who claimed for second time in a row the Champions League title. Now it’s the moment to evaluate the performance of the players during the season 2016-2017.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been the best player in Real Madrid in the last season, being a key player in the most important games of the season. The Portuguese player has been heavily criticized during his career because he didn’t show up in important days. Obviously, no one can doubt nowadays that the Portuguese striker always helps his team in the crucial games and this year he continued beating records, being the best player in Real Madrid history.

In Champions League he scored a brace at Allianz Arena in Munich and a hat trick against the German side at Santiago Bernabéu. In the semifinals, he scored again three goals in the derby to dumb Atlético Madrid and in the final he opened the scored board and in the last minutes he saw the net once again.

Something has changed for Cristiano this year. After several conversations with Zinedine Zidane, they arrived to an agreement in the number of games the Portuguese player must play in the season. Cristiano Ronaldo has played almost all the games in the last years, even those that were unnecessary. The Portuguese star confessed that he must rest more in order to maintain his physical strength. He has rested more games respect the last seasons, and this may be the key why the Portuguese leader arrived to the end of the season so fit.

There have been many rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure this summer because he had problems with the tax authority, but it looks like the Portuguese striker will stay at Madrid at least one year more, as he confirmed.

Last season Real Madrid’s leader scored 29 goals in La Liga in the 29 games he played, 12 in Champions League in 13 games and one in Copa del Rey. We can say that this has been the best year for Cristiano because he won the Euro Cup with Portugal last summer, the Spanish League, and he closed the year winning his fourth Champions League. It seems he will receive his fifth Golden Ball after this amazing season, where he has been the best player of the world.

Zinedine Zidane spoke at press conference after the third defeat of Real Madrid in the preseason against Barcelona in the International Champions Cup. Los Blancos didn’t play a good match, showing that they are not fit and that they must improve a lot if they want to win the European Super Cup against Manchester United and the Spanish Super Cup, where they will face again the team managed by Valverde.

The French manager started the press conference giving his opinion about the preseason Clásico: “We started the game very bad. We received two goals in only seven minutes  and that’s because we were not focused. Then, after the first 10 minutes, we improved and we played as we usually do. We had good moments during the game, but in the overall we cannot say that it was our good match for us”, Zidane said about El Clásico.

Zidane also spoke about the bad results they had in the three games of the preseason: ” It’s a preseason and I can affirm you that the three results are not the expected ones, but the important thing is to be ready for August 8. We must be patience and work very hard for the next official games”, the French coach affirmed about the bad performances in the three fist preseason games.

The journalists didn’t’ doubt once again on asking Zidane if Real Madrid need any signing for next season: “I’m not going to answer you that question because is the same as the one you asked me ten day ago. I must work wth the players I have and we will see if there are any changes.  I’m satisfied with my squad”, Zidane seemed a bit angry with the question about the possible signings.

After three games where Real Madrid lost all of them, the medias asked the French manager if they are ready to face the European Super Cup against the Red Devil: ” We didn’t play well but this is only the preseason. We are going to Chicago to play the last game and after we will be focused in the clash against United. We also did good things we don’t have to be pessimistic. We know that the results were not positive but we have time to improve”, he affirmed.

Real Madrid add another defeat in the preseason, and this was one is more painful because they were defeated by Barcelona. Los Blancos are not giving the level expected in their tour at United States, losing against United in the penalty shootout, being thrashed by Manchester City and showing that they are not in their best moments against Barcelona.

The first Clásico in 35 years out from Spain didn’t disappointed for the interest of the people who like football because we saw four goals in the first half and just one in the second one with plenty of opportunities for both sides where we isa gihgluight the good performance of both keepers, Cillessen and Keylor Navas.

Zinedine Zidane decided to introduce his best line-up with the absences in the starting 11 of Isco, Kroos and Cristiano, while Kovacic and Asensio replaced them in the team. Barcelona started the game being very superior. In fact, in 12 minutes, the team managed by Ernesto Valverde, scored two goals and had to two clear chances. Messi gave Barcelona the lead with a deflected shot off Raphael Varane, that was unstoppable for the Costa Rican keeper, while in the second goal, Neymar dribbled two Real Madrid Madrid players and assisted Rakitic, who increased the gap in the 7th minute.

Los Blancos were suffering a lot because it was closer the third goal for Barça than the first one for Zidane’s side. Suddenly, in the 12th minute Kovacic made a strong run towards the goal and with a powerful shot he was able to beat Cillessen. With this goal, Los Blancos gained on confidence and they started to have the ball in the midfield, with Modric and Benzema, who were being the players with more mobility in the team, while Bale was disappeared, confirming that he must improve a lot if he wants to be a key player for the French coach.

In the 36th minute, Marco Asensio tied the match for Los Blancos after an incredible  run of 30m in a brilliant counterattack, where the Spaniard playmaker showed his good physical and technique conditions. It was 2-2 and there were plenty of opportunities for both teams as neither squad seemed to try to defend as if it was an official game.

The second half didn’t start good for the team managed by Zidane. In the 49 the minute, Neymar put a free onto the instep of Piqué’s foot, finishing with a certain ease to help Barcelona to score their third goal. These were very bad news for Real Madrid because after making a good come back, Real Madrid was losing once again in the match, and it looked like they were going to have many problems to tie the game. Ten minutes later, Neymar had his own chance but missed a one-on-one with Navas, who was being the best in the pitch, proving that he wants to start the season in a high level.

There were more chances until the end of the match for both teams, but both Cillessen and Keylor, did incredibles saves that prevented more goals in the match. However, ee didn’t see more goals in El Clásico, which seemed a miracle because of the number of opportunities both squads had.

With the preseason almost over for Real Madrid, the team managed by Zinedine Zidane must prepare the European Super Cup final against United and el Clásico of the Spanish Super Cup, where they will face again Barcelona in an official match.

James Rodríguez’s had a very difficult season, and after a lot of rumors, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich arrived to an agreement in the signing of the Colombian play maker. James has shown many times that he is a very good player, with a lot of quality, but for certain reasons his stage at Real Madrid has been very irregular. After three years with Los Blancos, he was never able to get fixed in a spot in line-up and this has pushed him to leave the club his summer.

However, James Rodríguez best season with Los Blancos was the first one, in 2014/15, when he scored 13 goals in 29 games in La Liga. In that season, Carlo Ancelotti was his coach and now both will gather at Bayern Munich. In the last season he only played 22 games in the regular season, three at Copa del Rey and six in Champions League, adding a total of 1,756 minutes in the three competition, figures that not correspond to a player of that magnitude.

There are two games where we can highlight his good performance, for for instance against Eibar, in a match where Zidane decided to introduce the players with less minute or in El Clásico against Barcelona, where he scored the second of the team.

However, his stage at Real Madrid is over and now he will try to improve his performance at Bayern Munich, where he will coincide again with the manager who most trusted him, Carlo Ancelotti. The Colombian scored great goals at Madrid and he still has a great potential, for this reason the sale to a top European team could be cuestionable.

Sergio Ramos will debut in the season 2017-2018 after having an ailment in his ear that has prevented him to start the preseason earlier. Real Madrid’s captain is ready to play his first minutes of the season against Barcelona in El Clásico that will be played at Miami,  and he spoke at press conference the day before the first clash of the year.

The Andalusian full back started the press conference talking about next season: “Every year is different, we did a great job last year and we will face this one with a lot of excitement. You must keep the ambition intact, but when you are happy it’s easier to maintain it. I’m very happy playing this sport and I will try to give my highest level every year: ” Sergio Ramos said about the 2017-2018 season.

Sergio Ramos also spoke about El Clásico Real Madrid will have in their third game of the preseason: “It’s true that is hard to believe to play a Clásico in the third game of the preseason, but it’s not so demanding as the ones we usually play during the season. El Clásico is the best way to start the season. We are going to try to win this game because it’s important to face the best teams with the aim of knowing where is your level.”, Real Madrid captain said about El Clásico in Miami.

The journalist didn’t doubt about asking Sergio Ramos the possible signing of Mbappé: “Talking about players who do not belong to our club is a waste of time. He is a great players, but we face this season after doing a good job in the last one and I can affirm you that our squad is very good. Any player who has come here has been welcomed.”, Ramos said about the possible singing of the young French talent.

Finally the Spanish fullback  highlighted the importance of winning next game after the defeat against Manchester City: ” We don’t like to lose neither the friendly games. We have to give importance to the last defeat and we are working to improve our performance”, he affirmed about the importance of the last game.

Real Madrid are living a summer transfer markett with a lot of movement and after the  the return of certain players as Vallejo and Marcos Llorente, the team managed by Zinedine Zidane doesn’t rule out the possible departure of a player who didn’t have too many minutes last season, Lucas Vázquez. Real madrid have obtained a very significant amount of money from the sales of Álvaro Morata and Danilo. Other players as Burgui or Diego Llorente have also left the side, with the aim of having more minutes and grow as players. Thus, with all the sales, Real Madrid have earned around €140M.

In addition, Los Blancos have also sign to young talents that can be the future of the club, Dani Ceballos and Théo Hernández. It looks like Real Madrid are going to incorporate  more players until August 31 and because of this reason, Lucas Vázquez will play even less minutes respect last year.

Although Zinedine Zidane don’t want to sell more players of his squad, Lucas Vázquez has been losing importance in the French plans. A clear sample is that the Galician player was not included in Zidane’s list in the Champions League final against Juventus after being a very important piece during the tournament. With the possible signing of Mbappé and the BBC in the attack, Lucas doesn’t have space in Zidane’s line-up. The French manager is playing with a 4-4-2 formation in several games ant it’s even tougher to see Lucas in a starting 11 because there are lot of midfielders as, Modric, Kroos, Casemiro, Asensio, Ceballos, Marcos Llorente and Kovacic.

There are many rumors about Bale’s departure after the possible signing of Mbappé in the current transfer market. According to Marca, the Welshman only has in mind one goal, triumph at Real Madrid, despite his performance since his singing was not the expected one because of his injuries. In the preseason he has played quite good, being the reference with Benzema in the attack, proving that he wants to improve his level respect last years.

It’s true that at the beginning of the summer, Zidane had several conversations with Florentino Pérez about Mbappe´s signing, affirming that if finally they incorporate the young French talent, a player from the BBC would have to leave. Nowadays it’s very difficult the possibility of the Welshman departure because neither Real Madrid want to sell him nor Gareth Bale wants to leave the capital of Spain. The winger affirms that his desire is to triumph in the best team of the world, Real Madrid.

Bale renewed his contract last season until 2022 with the aim of having a long career at Madrid.  He seemed very happy with his new contract affirming that : “It’s the contract of my life, I want to retire here”. In fact, nowadays he is the second player with the highest salary of the squad, with almost €17M net annually. This is a galactic contract that does not want to rescind nine months later.

With the rumors about his possible departure with the possible signing of Mabappe’ and the interest of Manchester United, there is only one circumstance that could motivate his departure from the capital of Spain. The circumstance is if Florentino Pérez says him that he must leave the team. The current president has been a great defender of the Welshman these years and it’s quite difficult that he changes that opinion. Now Real Madrid have to choose who they prefer, the signing of Mbappé or the departure of a BBC player.
