Luis Figo scored a sensational 25-yard stunner at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday as Real Madrid Legends rolled back the years to see off Juventus Legends 2-1 in the fourth Corazon Classic Match.
Many greats from down the years turned out for Los Blancos, including Fernando Hierro, Fernando Morientes, Roberto Carlos and Emilio Butragueno.
Juventus also boasted an array of stars from yesteryear, including midield maestro Pavel Nedved, Edgar Davids and 2006 World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro.
The match was held to raise money for a number of children’s charities around the world.
Figo opened the scoring after just six minutes when he smashed the ball into the bottom corner after some lovely link up play with Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman was in the mood to entertain and perhaps the highlight of the match came when he showed of show incredible skill and ended up balancing the ball on his head for a few seconds.
Amoruso and Montero linked up well for the latter to score after 67 minutes, but Ivan Perez settled affairs just five minutes late, racing onto a through ball from Butragueno.
