The transfer market is closed until Winter but there are several players who have raised some interested in Real Madrid. One of them is Rafa Mir, a young striker playing currently at Valencia whose contract ends next season.

According to the Spanish newspaper As, Real Madrid already tried to sign the youngster this summer but Valencia said ‘no’. Besides, Los Blancos have still to know the answer from FIFA about the underage footballers. If Real Madrid can finally sign some players next season, the club will try to get Rafa Mir.

The player made his debut with Valencia in 2015 in a Champions League game against Zenit St Petersburg with Nuno on the bench. Now he’s focused in the second team of Valencia but sometimes he plays with the first squad. For instance, he enjoyed some minutes in the first two games in La Liga with Valencia, against Las Palmas and Eibar. In both games, Valencia couldn’t beat their opponents and the coach, Pako Ayestarán, trusted the youngster to score a decisive goal.

Rafa Mir is only 19 years old and he has plenty of time to improve his performance. Real Madrid board thinks that he could be a good signing for Castilla -the second team- and if he does right, he could enjoy some minutes with the first team, just like Mariano Díaz is doing.

Real Madrid are following the youngster all around the world. For instance, this week they spotted a Brazilian young talent from Vasco de Gama called Evander Ferreira. Two years ago, they also signed Marco Asensio from Mallorca and now he has become one of the best Spanish player of the moment. However, Real Madrid have already signed another youngster to cover the attack line of Castilla. The Paraguayan Sergio Díaz joined the club in summer and he already scoring some goals for the team.

Real Madrid are working hard to get Gareth Bale’s contract extended soon. The deal with the Welshman ends in 2019 and the club is trying to renovate until 2022. However, the negotiations are hard and now are getting even worse because Manchester United are tempting Gareth Bale.

Gareth Bale’s agent is asking around €17M per season to Real Madrid and the club doesn’t want to give as much money as this. Currently, important players of the squad such as Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema are earning around €10M and Los Blancos wouldn’t like to put Bale in a very different step in terms of salary. Bale is currently earning €6M per year and the idea of the club is rising the salary up to €10M.

However, there is an offer that could make more difficult the deal. Manchester United have offered €20M per year to Gareth Bale, according to the Spanish newspaper OKDiario. Red Devils offer could be tempting as Bale could play again in the Premier League and the Manchester side has now an interesting project with José Mourinho on board.

It’s not the first time that Manchester United come up with an offer to a player Real Madrid are negotiating with. One year ago, Los Blancos and Sergio Ramos were in talks to extend the contract. The negotiations went tough when the defender received a big offer from Manchester United but both the player and Real Madrid finally got an agreement and Sergio Ramos could stay in Madrid.

Gareth Bale has started really well the season and he knows it’s the right time to get a better deal. He was the star in the last Euro with Wales, reaching the semifinals for the first time in their history. In this new season, Bale has already scored two goals against Real Sociedad and he was also the best player with Wales against Moldova in the qualifying game for the Russian World Cup.

The Spaniard midifielder Xavi Hernández , who is living now in Qatar, has spoken in “ El Larguero” a radio show in Cadena Ser about his new experience in the Arab countries, Real Madrid and their players. Xavi Hernández always speaks clear and this time was no exception. He lived the most competitive years for Real Madrid and Barcelona with Mourinho and Guardiola era and now he can talk about these thrilling seasons.

Xavi explained what he thinks about FC Barcelona this year from his point of view. “Barca is a step above the rest and I´m trying to be as objective as possible. The Masia (FC Barcelona football school) is not over, there´s always useful players you can believe.”

He also gave his opinion about a player who stayed several years near by: “ Messi will be the number one until he wants, it´s wonderful to have him in Barcelona. Messi is superior to others. He is the best player in the world for everyone unless if you are supporter of Real Madrid”, Xavi explained.

The Spaniard midfielder always had a great relationship with Iker Casillas and he defended him: “What happened with Casillas and the Spanish national team could happened. It´s hard to see Iker on the bench with all the good things and moments he gave to this country”, Xavi explained about seeing Casillas on the bench in the last Euro in France and after the former Real Madrid goalkeeper was left out from the list of the new Spanish coach.

Xavi Hernández gave his point of view about the star of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo:” A stupid guy cannot play football and if you are Cristiano Ronaldo even less. I never spoke about his intelligence as people said. Cristiano is an extraordinary player, one of the best now. The problem I have is that there is another player that maybe is the best of all the history, Lionel Messi. Comparing both of them, for me, has no point. I think everybody who likes football thinks like me, except if they are Real Madrid supporters”, Xavi finished.

Nowadays the players you sign don´t give you all the money the team needs. The sponsorhips are taking protagonism in the world of football. All the teams want to have the better deal with their sponsorhip to try get the most possible profit.

Los Blancos signed a contract in 1998 with Adidas in which they received €40M per season. Real Madrid have won 2 Champions League in the last 3 years and Los Blancos are thinking in improveing the contract they signed 4 years ago with Adidas. Real Madrid board thinks the contract they have is too low in comparison with the other important teams who receive more money lifting less titles than Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez proposal to Adidas is a €150M fixed fee and €50M depending on the success of the team during the year.

Real Madrid is in contact with Adidas to improve the contract. This year Adidas signed a new deal with Manchester United of €96M per season and this agreement made other sponsorships to be interested in Real Madrid. The economic difference between Manchester United and Real Madrid made Los Blancos a good club to target.

Nike is the brand trying to reach an agreement with Florentino Pérez. The American company has offer Real Madrid €120M per season. It´s a major improvement and Real Madrid will have to decide which brand is the best sponsor for Real Madrid in the future. The problem is that FC Barcelona signed with Nike the year Real Madrid signed with Adidas, back in 1998. There both brands started a huge competition. Atlético de Madrid, for instance, have also Nike as a sponsor and it will be curious that the the three most important teams in Spain will use the same brand in their kit.

Despite the summer market closed on the 1st of September, the big clubs are already working in spotting some young stars. South American football is one of the best markets for these and the specialist travel a lot to the continent to see young footballers playing live. Brazil and Argentina are the biggest markets and Real Madrid also keep an eye on these countries.

According to the Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Real Madrid are following closely the young Brazilian striker Evander Ferreira. The player is also target by Italian giants Juventus, that’s why they are reporting Los Blancos interest in the player. However, Juventus and Real Madrid are not the only European clubs following the youngster, but Barcelona and Chelsea are also watching him.

Evander Ferreira is only 18 years old and he plays for Vasco de Gama. He has only played 10 games with the first squad and he hasn’t scored any goal but he has impressed with his performance. He helped the team to become champion of the Carioca Division I. Evander Ferreira has already played with the Brazilian national team, in Under 17, winning the South American trophy Under 17.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are fighting for another South American player. Both clubs were also interested in the striker Gabriel Jesús, who has already scored great goals with the national team. However, Manchester City were quicker and they signed the attacker for the next Winter transfer window.

Real Madrid interest in young South American players is not new. This year, actually, they signed Sergio Díaz, a Paraguayan striker from Cerro Porteño. Los Blancos paid €5M for the youngster, who is currently playing at Castilla, the second team of Real Madrid. Martin Odegaard, signed from Norway, is another example of the new signing policy of Florentino Pérez, trying to spot talent everywhere in the world.

Álvaro Arbeloa is enjoying a new experience at West Ham United. It’s going to be his second stage in the Premier League after the three seasons he spent at Liverpool. The 33-year-old right back has left Real Madrid this summer, the club he loves, to look for more opportunities abroad. It wasn’t an easy decision for him, but he didn’t have space in Los Blancos squad anymore.

The current West Ham defender spoke at the Spanish radio station Cadena Cope about his feelings of leaving Real Madrid: “When you leave Real Madrid is complicated. Going out, choosing, it’s hard. It’s like going out from the heaven and choose a destiny in the Earth. It’s different, a lot of things change. At Real Madrid you have all the commodities of the world and Valdebebas (Real Madrid training ground) is something unique. You arrive to West Ham and it’s different, but I’m happy because it’s where I wanted to be”.

He had several offers before choosing West Ham United. He always had pretty clear that he wanted to play again outside Spain: “There were some offers from Spain but my intention was to leave Spain because I didn’t want to wear any other t-shirt apart from the Real Madrid one. I needed to leave and for my family it was a good option, a great experience. Besides, the Premier League this year is wonderful, there is a high level in the players and the coaches”.

Apart from West Ham, the other club showing more interest in Arbeloa was Milan: “There were talks but the Chinese arrival to control the club stopped everything and I took the decision to not going further”.

Despite being in England, Arbeloa is watching closely Real Madrid and he’s very happy right now: “They couldn’t start better with the Supercup and the first two games in La Liga. I hope they continue in this way”, Arbeloa commented.

This is a quite week for Real Madrid. At least until Wednesday, when all the international players come back to work. However, Zinedine Zidane could be happy with the performance of some ‘madridistas’ around the world.

Last week, James Rodríguez shone against Venezuela and tonight the Colombian player will face Brazil in the most interesting game of the week. But James is not the only Real Madrid footballer playing at a great level with his national team. Álvaro Morata and Gareth Bale were yesterday the stars of the game.

Álvaro Morata suffered an injury last week against Belgium and his appearance against Liechtenstein wasn’t sure. However, Julen Lopetegui, the new Spanish coach, gave some minutes to Morata in the second half, who scored two goals in only two minutes. In was the quickest time in the Spanish national team history in which one footballer scored two goals.

The game where Spain thrashed (8-0) Liechtenstein left another good piece of news for Real Madrid. Marco Asensio played his first minutes with the Spanish national team ending a great summer, where he earned a position in Real Madrid squad, scores his first official goals with Los Blancos and arrived to the national team.

Sergio Ramos was the only ‘madridista’ starting in the game, whereas Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez stayed on the bench and they didn’t play any minute. They had the opportunity to rest before the game against Osasuna on Saturday, when Real Madrid will play again in La Liga.

Another Real Madrid player who will come back very happy after these two weeks is Gareth Bale. The Welshman scored two goals on Monday in Wales easy victory (4-0) over Moldavia. The Real Madrid winger lead again his national team and will try to bring Wales to the Russian World Cup two years after of arriving to the semi-finals of the Euro in Welsh first appearance in the tournament.

Gianluigi Donnarumma. Some of you might have not heard about this name however is one of the emerging stars in Europe. He has made his first appearance with Italy in Friday, when ‘azzurra’ faced France in Bari and was Buffon’s substitute. Donnarumma played his first game with his national team with only 17 years and 6 months, the youngest goalkeeper ever in Italy.

It was not a surprise. Donnarumma defended with success Milan’s goal last season, sending former Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego López to the bench. After this performance, the new Italian manager Giampiero Ventura decided to call Donnarumma and he made his debut with Italy.

Donnarumma played 30 games in Serie A last season with Milan. Unfortunately, the team didn’t perform really well last year but the two good news about Milan are Donnarumma and Carlos Bacca. The young Italian goalkeeper is now a star in his country and all the media are writing a lot of articles about his performance.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid have kept a close eye to Donnarumma’s performance. The Italian newspaper gives its first page to the goalkeeper today and they link him to Los Blancos. However, Milan are now working to extend and improve his contract due to the raising interest in Donnarumma.

The Milanese club is changing a lot in the recent months. A Chinese group is looking to invest in the team and Silvio Berlusconi might end up selling the club. With more money, Milan try to tie up their stars, including Carlos Bacca and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

According to the Italian newspaper, Real Madrid would look for a replacement for Keylor Navas, currently injured. Although Kiko Casilla is performing really well, Los Blancos could eventually buy a young goalkeeper looking for the future and Donnarumma is the perfect player for this. Los Blancos were also interested in the past in Gigi Buffon and now they don’t want to miss his substitute in the Italian national team.

One of the most important strategies for Florentino Pérez is to invest in the ‘cantera’, that is the home-grown players. Known as ‘La Fábrica’, the factory, Los Blancos work to grow players who can eventually join the first team of Real Madrid. A good example of these players in the current squad are Mariano Díaz, Dani Carvajal, Álvaro Morata or Nacho.

Unfortunately, most of them cannot stay at Real Madrid and have to look for a new future in a new club. This is a business that Real Madrid want to take advantage of and it’s giving great profit to the club. For instance, this summer transfer window, the players raised at Real Madrid have moved almost €100M.

The two most important transfers of players grown at Real Madrid were done by Álvaro Morata and Jesé Rodríguez. Real Madrid paid €30M to Juventus to buy back the striker, who played two years in Italy and has now become a star. If Morata arrives to Real Madrid, another forward needs to leave. This is the case of Jesé Rodríguez, who didn’t have success last season at Real Madrid and found a new club. PSG paid €25M for the Canarian player.

The third top sale was Marcos Alonso. The current Chelsea player joined the Blues after paying €25M transfer fee to Fiorentina. Alonso was raised at Real Madrid although he’s been playing in England and Italy for several years right now.

Finally, the other big sale was Denis Cheryshev. The Russian player came back last year to Real Madrid after a season on loan in Villarreal. In the winter transfer window, he played with Valencia on loan. Now, Villarreal paid €10M to Real Madrid to have all the rights.

Other players that have given some money this year to Real Madrid are: José Rodríguez (from Galatasary to Mainz); Álvaro Medrán (Real Madrid to Valencia); Jurado (Real Madrid to Espanyol); Sarabia (Getafe to Sevilla) and Mascarell (Real Madrid to Eintracht Frankfurt).

Unfortunately for Real Madrid and for Keylor Navas, the goalkeeper is not recovered yet from his injury and he can’t play against Osasuna this weekend. The Costa Rican was set to return after the national teams fixtures this weekend but he has still some medical problems and he won’t come back before three weeks from now.

Keylor Navas had surgery in his Achilles tendon back in June. After the surgery he had to be out of the pitches three of four months. However, Keylor Navas as working hard during the summer to try to come back earlier from his injury. Now he has suffered another blow and can’t come back before the estimated time.

According to the media, Navas doesn’t have a problem anymore in his Achilles tendon but he’s suffering pain at the moment. Both the doctors and the player don’t want to risk and prefer to wait until the goalkeeper is fully recovered so he can face an important season.

Initially he was set to return this weekend, along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe. Now, Keylor Navas has to wait at least three more weeks. He could be fit by the 24th of September, when Real Madrid will travel to Las Palmas or on the 27th, when Los Blancos face Dortmund in Champions League in Germany. The other option is to wait until the next time La Liga will stop for international fixtures. It will be the 2nd of October.

Zinedine Zidane doesn’t want to rush with Keylor Navas. At the moment, Kiko Casilla is defending the goal really well and he has been trusted by the managers. The former Espanyol goalkeeper will have to play in the following month and lead the Real Madrid defence line.

In the three official games Real Madrid have played this season, Casilla has received three goals, two against Sevilla at the European Supercup and one against Celta. However, the goalkeeper couldn’t do anything else in the goals and he’s been playing really well in the first important test for his career at Los Blancos.
