Real Madrid could draw in El Clásico at Camp Nou in the last minutes with a brilliant header of Sergio Ramos. Barcelona and Real Madrid played a great match at Camp Nou. Los Blancos could draw the game in the last minutes in a very difficult match for Zidane’s players. The French manager decided to play with a similar team as the one at Vicente Calderón, without Casemiro in the starting 11 and including Karim Benezema in the attack. Real Madrid still have six points more than Barcelona after this match.

The match started with a lot of intensity because of the importance of the game. Los Blancos started really good the match, controlling the ball and having the best opportunities. Sergi Roberto was suffering in the right back because Real Madrid were attacking constantly that side. We could saw again a great performance, especially in the first half of Luka Modric, that was being the best player in Real Madrid midfield next to Mateo Kovacic.

We can say that Real Madrid were being better than Barcelona and it seemed that the first goal was going to arrive. With the pass of the minutes we could saw good Rea Madrid chances and there were two possible penalties of Mascherano, to Lucas Vázquez and to Cristiano Ronaldo. The referee decided that both possible penalties were legal and the first half finished with not too many opportunities but with a lot of intensity and sacrifice.

Los Blancos did not started the second half as well as the fist one. Barcelona began to play with their classic style of having the possession and Real Madrid only were thinking about defending. Suddenly, in the minute 53, Luis Suárez opened the score board from a cross of Neymar. The Uruguayan striker scored from a great header in a possible offside. After this goal everything was becoming more difficult for Real Madrid. Luis Enrique decided to replace Rakitic by Iniesta, and the possession of the ball increased even more.

Zidane reacted giving the opportunity to Casemiro instead Isco that was already booked. We could saw that the Brazilian midfielder is not still 100%. Barcelona were having the best chances and everybody thought that they were going to score the second goal. But they missed the chances and Real Madrid were still alive. In the last five minutes Cristiano could draw the match but his head was stopped by Alba. When the game arrived to the 90 minute Los Blancos had the last chance from a foul that was as a corner. Luka Modric made a great a cross and once again Sergio Ramos appeared again scoring from a wonderful header.

El Clásico finished with a draw and Los Blancos could left Barcelona with a draw that is as a victory. The team manage by Zidane are still six point above FC Barcelona and now is tike to think in the next Champions League against Bayern Dortmund.

Another finalist is the Atlético Madrid player Antoine Griezmann. The French striker has grown as a player in the last years, and now a days is one of the best players in all the world. However, Los Blancos are looking for the best footballers in the world and there are two former madridistas that might want to return to the Spanish capital. Özil and Di María left Real Madrid some years ago expecting to improve in their careers but their higher point in their life was at Real Madrid.

Mesut Özil is currently negotiating a new contract with Arsenal. The German newspaper Bild published some weeks ago that the playmaker would dream to go back to Madrid. Now, Mesut Özil has spoken with Diario MARCA and he doesn’t close the door: “Come back to Real Madrid? You never know”, said the German international. “I’m very happy playing in London, but in football you never know… We’ll see what happen in the future”.

In the interview, Özil said that he maintain a great relationship with Sergio Ramos -they speak in English- and he has good words for Real Madrid supporters: “Real Madrid fans are very nice with me. Despite Benzema is not in the best shape, the French attacker will play: “We know his importance. It’s evident that he gives us a lot, even more in a game like this. FIFA have made public the nominees to The Best Award in the category of coach, both male and female football. Among the nominees we can see Zinedine Zidane, who only arrived to the position in January and now he has become one of the best coaches of the world.

The list of three candidates to win the trophy are Fernando Santos, Claudio Ranieri and Zinedine Zidane. The list of nominees of best coach in female football are Jill Ellis (US national coach), Silvia Neid (former German coach) and Pia Sundhage (Swedish coach). The winner will be announced on the 9th of January in Zurich (Switzerland).

Zinedine Zidane will have tough opponents to bring the prize home. Claudio Ranieri made history with Leicester City and the Foxes won the Premier League for the first time in the history. A team made to avoid relegation, surprised the world and beat all English teams in a shocking victory.

The other nominee, Fernando Santos, also beat the odds. No one thought that Portugal could win the Euro, however they knew how to play the crucial games and they beat France in Paris in the final to win the trophy for the first time in the history.

Zidane has also good reasons to win the trophy. The French manager arrived to the bench in January in his first experience at a top level. He has only lost two games -against Atlético Madrid and Wolfsburg- and now Los Blancos are in a run of 32 games unbeaten. In this time, he has won the Champions League and the European Supercup. He also fought La Liga until the last game and was able to win Barcelona at Nou Camp in El Clásico. For all this reasons, Zidane could win The Best Coach Award given by FIFA.

This time, Diego Pablo Simeone was not among the nominees, despite bringing Atlético Madrid to their second European final in only three years. Luis Enrique, winner of La Liga and Copa del Rey, cannot win the trophy neither.
