Florentino Pérez and Zinedine Zidane are building a project to win titles in the short term as they’ve shown this year with the double, La Liga and Champions League. However, Real Madrid supporters should be calm because they’re also building a project for the future. Most of the members of the squad have to turn 26 yet and there are many others in the early 20’s. Besides, the new signings are also really young players, with all the future in front of them.

This season, Real Madrid have signed Vinicius Junior, who is only 16 years old. Marcos Llorente (22) will come back after a successful loan at Alavés and the same happens with Jesús Vallejo (20), who comes from Eintracht Frankfurt. Besides, the club bought Theo Hernández (19) from Alavés. These are all new and young players for the future Real Madrid.

Besides, Real Madrid brought back last year Marco Asensio (21), after being on loan at Espanyol. The winger has already made his debut with the Spanish national team, scored a goal in the Champions League final and renew his contract with the club. Mariano Díaz (23) will leave the club with a buy-back clause and he could be the striker of the future, whereas Mateo Kovacic (23), who has the same age, is a key part in the midfield, both in the defensive area or the offensive one.

There are two players who are 24 years old but they are really experienced. Raphael Varane is always in the list for France and he’s won three Champions League. Álvaro Morata may leave the club in the summer, but if he decides to stay, he can be a key part in the future of the club.

Then, we can see the ‘club of 25’: Daniel Carvajal, Danilo, Isco, Lucas Vázquez, James Rodríguez and Casemiro. All of them are really important players in the squad although the Colombian playmaker will leave the club during the summer. Some of the others are always in the line-up, securing a great present and future to the club.

Therefore, Zidane has players to build a great Real Madrid for the future. In the squad there are only five players over 30 years. These are the two goalkeepers, Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla, Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo. Pepe was also over 30 but he has not renewed his contract with the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid, according to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola. The forward is very angry because the club is not defending him from the accusations of fraud. The Spanish tax authorities are claiming €14.7M to the footballer, who thinks that he’s done everything properly and he’s been chased because of his position. At this point, A Bola also published that Real Madrid will receive an offer of €180M this summer for Cristiano Ronaldo. Should Florentino Pérez accept this bid and sell his best player?

Cristiano Ronaldo said several times that he wanted to retire at Real Madrid. He’s happy in the Spanish capital and he renewed his contract recently. Besides, he has accepted a new role in the team, resting much more so he can arrive at the end of the season at his maximum, as he did this season. Also, the relationship with the manager, Zinedine Zidane, is great and both of them get along very well. So, why he should be thinking on leaving Madrid?

The answer is the Spanish prosecutor. They’ve presented a report to the judge where they claimed €14.7M to Cristiano Ronaldo, who is being accused of creating companies in the Virgin Islands to hide the money received from his image rights. The player thinks that the club should be defending him and that would be the reason for him to leave. But where?

Manchester United and PSG are the only two clubs in Europe able to pay such amount of money. The transfer fee should be around €180M and then they have to pay Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary, so they’d have to pay circa €400M. There is also the Chinese option, but it’s very unlikely that Cristiano Ronaldo would like to go to Asia at this point of his career.

The question here is: Should Real Madrid sell Cristiano Ronaldo? The answer is ‘yes’. The club’s policy has been always very clear. They don’t retain any player against of his will. We’ve seen this very recently with Ángel Di María or Mesut Özil. Both wanted to leave and both are gone. We might see this again with Álvaro Morata and James Rodríguez.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player of the club and in the world. He makes the difference as he’s shown in the Champions League this year. He’s going to win his fifth Golden Ball in January, so the team will lose a very important asset. No one doubts about his skills, his quality and his commitment to the club. However, you cannot fight against the players’ will.

Real Madrid are above any player. Los Blancos have another great players in the squad and they’ve shown this season that they could play very well even without Cristiano Ronaldo in the line-up. Besides, this money could be used to sign a younger star like Kylian Mbappé. The Portuguese is already 32 and we can say his best years are gone. Now, he’s the best striker in the world, but he’s no longer quick enough to dribble and play as a winger.

Therefore, Florentino Pérez should listen to the player. If Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave, the should open the door, listen to offer and get as much money as Florentino can.

Real Madrid have done an incredible season winning the double with La Liga, and the Champions League. This was a very difficult task, because Los Blancos had not won La Liga in the last five years and they are the first team who proclaims for second time in a row Champions League winners. Now it’s the moment to evaluate the performance of the players during the season 2016-2017.

Carvajal is nowadays one of the best right backs in all the world and he is only 25 years old. This has been this fourth season in La Liga and we can say that this was his best year since his return to Real Madrid after being on loan at Bayer Leverkusen. No one can imagine a line up without Carvajal in an important game after seeing Danilos’ poor performances in certain games. The Brazilian right back has generated many doubts during the season and it seems that when Carvajal is not in the line up, Real Madrid suffer a lot.

Dani Carvajal started the season with a wonderful goal in the extra time of the European Supercup against Sevilla and he finished it with a great assist to Cristiano in the goal that opened the scoreboard in the final of Cardiff. Nowadays he is one of the best right backs in all the world and it looks like he’s level is improving season by season, and no one doubts about his importance in the squad. He has been playing all his life with Real Madrid and his desire is to stay in the Spanish Capital and keep winning titles in the team that he has supported since he was a child.

He played a very complete season, where he didn’t’ score any goal neither in Champions League or in La Liga, but his contribution in the right side has been amazing. He is a right back who attack really good and defends even better. That’s very difficult nowadays and Los Blancos must feel very proud with a youngster that has been linked with Real Madrid all his life.

The first one was Álvaro Morata. The striker got married on Friday in Venice with some colleagues in the ceremony like Sergio Ramos. The forward married Alice Campello in Venice because the bride is from Italy. Actually, most of the rumours about Morata leaving Spain and going to Italy are because Alice is from this country.

On Saturday it will be the time for Lucas Vázquez. The winger gets married in Majadahonda, a town near Madrid, with Macarena. It will be hard for Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal or Nacho, who have to travel in the morning from Venice to Madrid to attend the ceremony.

On Saturday, it will be Mateo Kovacic special day. The Croatian midfielder gets married with Izabel Andrijanic in his country. Luka Modric should attend the ceremony but many of his colleagues at Real Madrid cannot travel to the Balcanic country. This summer, another Real Madrid player gets married. This will be Danilo, but in Brazil and the 30th of June.

Most of the footballers planned this weekend to get married because these are the first days of their holidays after the international weekend break. They can enjoy some days in the beach in Europe, get married in their countries and then travel far away for their honeymoon. They have one month of holidays, so they have time to enjoy the first days of their marriage in a paradisiac island. Cristiano Ronaldo, for instance, won’t be able to attend these weddings because he’s still working with his national team, getting ready for the Confederations Cup.

Eden Hazard will continue playing for Chelsea the next seasons. Although Real Madrid were interested in getting him on board, the playmaker has shut the door to the Spanish giant and he will keep working for the Blues. Now, Real Madrid main targets are Kylian Mbappé and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

A lot of rumours were triggered at the end of the season around Eden Hazard. Florentino Pérez has followed him for many years and it seemed that Real Madrid were going to try to sign him in the summer after his great season with Chelsea, where he has won the Premier League title again with Antonio Conte.

However, these rumours have lost strength in the last few weeks. The Belgian footballer got injured in his ankle and he’ll rest a few weeks, missing the start of the pre-season. Now, he has talked with the British newspaper Mirror about his future: “Hopefully, next year it is the same — we win the league and then I win Player of the Year”, Hazard said.

The playmaker also spoke about his feelings about Chelsea: “I’ve been here for five years now and I’m so happy”. “I’m at one of the best clubs in the world, so I’m very happy to play for such a big club like this”, the Belgian player commented.

He says also that the club is like his family, so he’s very comfortable playing for them: “After five years, I know everything about the club. Even if I’m still only 26, I have a lot of experience now. I started playing at 16 in France, so I’ve been professional for 10 years. In terms of games and experience, I’m one of the oldest ones. I like this club because it’s like a family. I have a lot of friends and we all talk to each other”, the playmaker said.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is the first target for many clubs this summer. AC Milan have announced that the player has refused to sign a new contract for the club and he will be free to leave Italy in the summer of 2018. Therefore, AC Milan need to negotiate the sale of the player this summer if they want to make some money.

Marco Fassone, general director at AC Milan, made the official statement, after a meeting with Mino Raiola, Donnarumma’s agent: “Raiola told me that Donnarumma won’t renew his contract with Milan. It’s the final call. We had a lot of trust on Gigio to be the goalkeeper of the new Milan, the base to build our new project, but we have to review our plans… This decision makes us sad but we’re keep going forward. Milan continue”.

After his words, Gigi Donnarumma is in the market. The 19-year-old goalkeeper has been one of the best goalkeepers in Europe in the last two years despite of his age. Real Madrid former goalkeeper Diego López had to leave the club, because Donnarumma closed his path in the club. He will be Buffon’s replacement in the national team and he has become the best player of his club.

Now, many clubs would like to sign the Italian goalkeeper but Real Madrid have preference, according to Sportitalia. These sources say that Mino Raiola told Milan that Real Madrid have already made an offer to Donnarumma, who will get €6M per year and he would sign a long-term contract.

Therefore, the debate in Real Madrid’s goal has turned dramatically. Donnarumma is now the first option and David De Gea is further away from Santiago Bernabéu. Although the Spaniard said goodbye to Manchester United supporters after the last game in the Premier League, now no one knows if De Gea will join Real Madrid. On the other side we have Keylor Navas, who has the support from all his colleagues and he’s been able to win two Champions League titles on a row with great performances.

The reason is the problems with the Tax Authorities in Spain, who are claiming €14.7M in taxes. The Real Madrid star is chased by the Spanish prosecutor and he thinks that the club is not supporting him.

With James Rodríguez and the Spanish forward are out of the team, Los Blancos will have money and space to sign a big player. Los Blancos will have many competitors to sign Mbappé. After his great season with Mónaco, winning the Ligue 1 title and qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals, many European big teams would like to sign him. However, the signing would be very expensive, around €150M, especially after the acquisition of Bernardo Silva by Manchester City for £43.6M.

Among the teams interested in the player we can see also PSG. The French giants failed to win the Ligue 1 and they need to reinforce the squad to continue with their ambition to grow up and fight for the Champions League trophy. The coach, Unai Emery, said in Spain that Mbappé is a target for PSG.

“When we speak about Mbappé, here in Spain we talk about Real Madrid and Barcelona. But I’m in Paris and I say to myself: ‘What a beautiful thing if he could represent a French team, so one of the icons of the future stays here. With all due respect to Mónaco”, the coach said, according to the newspaper As.

The Spanish coach continued with his idea: “He left Paris and he has all his family there […] What would be better for him, for France and for PSG that join everything around the player”. However, Real Madrid don’t agree with Emery and they are able to fight and get Mbappé on board for the next season.

However, many players are not happy with the minutes enjoyed and they want to leave the club. Florentino Pérez wants to cash a lot of money for these champions and they can reach a record sales summer.

The player that can leave more cash in the club is Álvaro Morata. The striker has a really good transfer value after playing a great season at Real Madrid and the two years spent in Italy. Manchester United are already offering around €60M, but Los Blancos expect to get up to €90M to let him go. Mourinho called Morata to convince him to play at Old Trafford and the forward is willing to leave, but Real Madrid want to make business.

James Rodríguez can also leave a lot of money in the club. Real Madrid spent €75M for the Colombian playmaker. After a couple of disappointing seasons, his value has dropped but Los Blancos still expect to get around €70M for him. Manchester United or Inter Milan showed their interest.

There could be some surprises before the summer ends, but Real Madrid expect to get around €160M if all those players decide to leave the club. Then, Los Blancos will have money to reinforce the squad with important players like Kylian Mbappé.

Nacho Fernández spoke in the unveiling of the new kit for the season 2017-18. The defender was at Gran Vía, Madrid, in the Adidas store to show the new t-shirts for the next season. The player was surrounded by La Liga title and the Champions League trophy conquered only one month ago.

After all these titles, Nacho agrees with Sergio Ramos and no changes should be done: “Sergio said that there weren’t many things to change in the squad and I agree with my captain. When the things go fine and the group is together, it’s important to keep it. We don’t have a word in the transfer market issue, but as a player of the first squad I think we are very well and I’d keep the whole squad”, Nacho commented.

This was a very special season for Nacho, who has many opportunities and he was a very important man in the squad: “The season we just finished was the best in a collective and personal way. The next one will be much more complicated, we have to win again the titles and this is always more complicated, but we have strength and we are eager, that’s the most important thing”, Nacho said.

Talking in a personal way, it was also a great season for the defender: “Without any doubt, this was my best season, the one that I played the most. I always demanded them for my effort. Thanks to Zidane I felt important and with these players it’s easier to play. I’m happy with this season, not only for the minutes I played but for what we achieved”.

Nacho was a key player in the defense. Everybody talks about the great attacking line, but the Spaniard wanted to highlight the defense: “In a team, the defense is as important, or even more, as the offensive line. If the whole team defends, like this year, it’s the way to get big things”.

Nacho has time now to enjoy his holidays, but he was asked about the pre-season with the physical trainer Antonio Pintus: “The worst thing about football are the pre-seasons, it’s when people run more and we train morning and afternoon. We have a great physical trainer and we are great with him. We are happy with all the managers. We have a difficult season in front of us and we need to rest to achieve the goals”.

Finally, he spoke about the difficulty of winning so many titles: “I wish all the season were like the one we just finished. We have to thank the supporters because they’ve been with us. I wish we could repeat the same season. Among all the things won, I have special affection to La Liga because it was the only title I had never won, but the Champions is special, my third one and the first time a team defend with success the title. It was wanted by all the supporters”.
