The website Transfermarkt published a report about the value of the teams in Europe. Real Madrid has the most valuable squad in the world, beating FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the ranking. Since Zidane’s arrival, the players value have increased and there are some players whose price has raised in the last months.

For this reason, we want you to have a look at this list of the Real Madrid players and their value according to the specialized site transfermarkt. If Florentino Pérez wants to sell any player this summer, he should have a look at the site to not give away any player for less money.

The most valuable player of the squad is Cristiano Ronaldo, whose price should be €100M. Only the BBC has a value in the market of €240M according to this site. However, Real Madrid are setting a higher price to some of their players. For instance, Álvaro Morata’s value is €40M and the club expects to get around €80M if the Spaniard finally decides to leave.

Toni Kroos is the player whose value has increased the most in the last months, followed by Nacho, Casemiro, Marcelo and Marco Asensio. On the other hand, James, Modric or Bale lost value in the last period of time.

The good news for Los Blancos is that this squad can even increase their value in the following months because most of them are very young with a promising future in front of them. Besides, in the list we cannot see Marco Asensio because he arrived to Madrid in the last transfer window. With Marcos Llorente, Theo Hernández or Jesús Vallejo, the value of the squad gets higher.

Have a look at the list of the Real Madrid players and their price in the market:

Keylor Navas €18M
Kiko Casilla €6M
Rubén Yáñez €0.3M
Dani Carvajal €32M
Danilo €16M
Pepe €3M
Sergio Ramos €40M
Raphael Varane €35M

Real Madrid have done an incredible season winning the double with La Liga, and the Champions League. This was a very difficult task, because Los Blancos had not won La Liga in the last five years and they are the first team who claimed for second time in a row the Champions League title. Now it’s the moment to evaluate the performance of the players during the season 2016-2017.

This was one of the worst seasons of Pepe since his arrival to Real Madrid 10 years ago. The Portuguese full back spent all the year trying to arrive to an agreement with Real Madrid for a new contract based on a two year deal, but Los Blancos only offered him a renewal for one year. There were many rumours about his signing for PSG, Inter Milan and China but finally he decided to finish his stage at Madrid signing with the Turkish team Besiktas.

In the beginning of the season everybody thought that Pepe was going to be Sergio Ramos pair in the defense, after his great performance in the Euro of France, winning the title and being one of the best players of the tournament. Nonetheless, Zinedine Zidane trusted Varane instead of Pepe, and after having many injuries during the season, the French player proved himself to be a key player in the squad. In fact, Nacho was the third full back, having a lot of minutes during the season and being the perfect substitute when there was any absence in the defense. Pepe’s best match was the capital derby against Atlético Madrid, where he opened the score board with a great header.

After 10 years playing for Real Madrid and after winning three Champions League titles, Pepe didn’t have a good farewell. The Portuguese defender was very upset with Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Pérez’s decision because he thought he deserved a better behavior with him. Pepe played only 13 games in La Liga, three in Champions League and two in Copa del Rey. Hopefully, he can show also his quality in Turkey but we must affirm that the Turkish league doesn’t have the same level as the important top European leagues.

Real Madrid signed Vallejo in the summer of 2015 but he finally could enjoy his moment. Florentino Pérez unveiled Jesús Vallejo in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium with a lot of journalists waiting for the moment: “Thanks for the confidence Real Madrid had given me. I want to give it back in the pitch”.

Jesús Vallejo will have the number 3 on his t-shirt and he’s the first player to be unveiled at the stadium. On Monday, we’ll heard Theo Hernández first words after the announcement of his signing. The defender is only 20 years old and the last two season he was given on loan to Zaragoza and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The young player shone in Germany, showing his great skills in a competitive league. He was even to reach the final of the German Cup with his team, although they weren’t able to win the title. Now, he will be Pepe’s replacement in the squad as the fourth full back and another youngster in this squad with a lot of future.

“I’m convinced that with humble, sacrifice and work, values that my parents gave me, I’ll achieve the challenges of the best club in the world. The receivement was great and I want to thank everybody. I’m happy to take this challenge and this responsibility and I’ll give everything for this badge. Hala Madrid!”, the youngster said in the press conference at the stadium.

Florentino Pérez was next to Vallejo, who played the final of the Euro Championship U-21 recently, and he spoke about the project: “Real Madrid are making history again with a double that we didn’t do it for a long time. We are working to improve this great team. We have a great squad, but we want to make a step further to strengthen this dressing room”, the president said.

Real Madrid announced this week the Theo Hernández’s signing from Atlético Madrid and the loan of Fabio Coentrao to Sporting Portugal. Therefore, the left back position is closed with Marcelo and Theo. There are more doubts concerning the right back and the club needs to find a solution as soon as possible.

Danilo wanted to continue at Real Madrid to improve his performances after two disappointed years. However, in the past days, two offers arrive to the club offices for Danilo. Juventus are decided to sign him for about €20M, but they have a competitor because Chelsea want also the Brazilian defender on board.

If Danilo finally leaves the club, which it’s very likely, Real Madrid need to find a replacement. Nacho can play as a right back sometimes, but he’s now the third full-back in the squad, after Pepe’s departure to Besiktas. However, Los Blancos are not looking into the market but within the club as they see Achraf Hakimi as the right substitute.

Hakimi made his official debut with Real Madrid in 2016 and he was called in the list for two games, against Celta de Vigo and Real Sociedad. He’s only 18 years old and he has no experience in the top league but the coach thinks he’s a very promising player and they are considering giving him the opportunity to remain in the squad.

The Moroccan born player will join the squad in the pre-season tour in the United States of America. Then, depending on the facts and his performances, he’d have the opportunity to play as a replacement for Dani Carvajal, the owner of the right wing.

Many clubs were interested in the loan of Achraf, especially Alavés. The Basque Country team got Enzo Zidane’s loan this season and Marcos Llorente one last summer and they were hoping that the right back could be his next agreement with Real Madrid. At the moment, this is on hold, awaiting for new movements in the market.

Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale is always surrounded by rumours about his return to the Premier League. Manchester United and Manchester City would like to sign the Welshman, but he has no intention to move from Madrid.

Sky Sports said that Gareth Bale doesn’t want to leave Spain because he’s very happy in the country. Even if Bale doesn’t speak the language and some supporters don’t understand why he’s always injured, the Welshman is happy in the Spanish capital, where he can enjoy also one of his great hobbies: golf.

Bale just finished a difficult season because he spent most of the days in the nursery room. The attacker even missed the Champions League final -he only played the last minutes- after suffering another injury in El Clásico, at Santiago Bernabéu. His importance in the team has dropped, whereas other players like Isco or Marco Asensio stepped up.

For these reasons, some of the supporters were wondering if it would be a good idea selling Bale during the summer. This possibility looks quite unlikely because Real Madrid bosses are not willing to let him go and the player is happy in Spain. Besides, when he’s fit, Bale has played some remarkable games, scoring important goals in La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey.

If Bale remains, the BBC will be the attacking line again in the next season. Cristiano Ronaldo looks calmer after his anger for the prosecution for tax fraud, although Real Madrid are still on edge waiting for a public declaration. On top of that, Karim Benzema is one Zidane’s favourite players, so he won’t leave during the summer.

Taking this in consideration, Mbappé’s arrival looks very unlikely. One of the BBC players would need to arrive for the French player to arrive, otherwise he would have less minutes at Real Madrid and Zidane would have a squad very difficult to manage.

Lienhart-Phillipe-GI

Philipp Lienhart will play the next season in the Bundesliga club Fribourg after some seasons playing with Castilla, the second Real Madrid team. He even made his debut with the first team, but now he’ll join one of the top flight clubs in Germany to continue with his progression.

Real Madrid got Lienhart on loan in 2014 from Rapid Wien. The next season, Real Madrid bought him and Zidane promoted him to Castilla. There, he played 53 games and scored two goals in Segunda B, the Spanish third division.

As we said, Lienhart even made his debut with Real Madrid although it was in a fatal day, when Real Madrid were knocked out of Copa del Rey against Cádiz. He also trained with the first team and even travelled to the United States in the last year.

Lienhart will turn 21 in the 11th of July and he’s played with the Austrian national team under 21. His position is the full back and he has a brilliant future in front of him. Perhaps he can follow Jesús Vallejo or Daniel Carvajal steps and play brilliantly in the Bundesliga to get the ticket to go back at Santiago Bernabéu.

The agreement is not official but Christian Streich, Fribourg manager, has confirmed the agreement. This is a great opportunity for a great player with experience in a great club like Lienhart. “It will work, and that’s great,” he said. “He’s an Austrian U21 player who has been at Madrid for some time and learned a lot there. He’ll join us highly motivated. Those are the right ones for us, those who still must and want to learn a lot”, the manager said, according to ESPN.

Real Madrid are selling some of the Castilla players this season. Enzo Zidane left Madrid to join Alavés, whereas the Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde joined Deportivo La Coruña after shining in the World Cup U-21.

Coentrao-Fabio-GI

Fabio Coentrao will play the next season on loan at Sporting Portugal. The Portuguese defender has contract until 2019, so he will have to go back to Madrid and end his deal with Los Blancos after the season in Portugal. Coentrao went to Lisbon some days ago to pass the medical tests with the club and now both clubs have made the official announcement.

“Real Madrid C. F. and Sporting Clube de Portugal have agreed the loan of the player Fábio Coentrão until 30 June 2018”, published Real Madrid in their website. According to O Jogo, Real Madrid will pay the 90% of his salary, but at least the clubs removes a potential problem in the squad.

With the arrival of Theo Hernández to Bernabéu, Coentrao wasn’t need it because Zidane has already two left-backs in the squad. Besides, the Portuguese was the worse player last season and he didn’t play many minutes, apart from Copa del Rey or the Champions League game against Sporting Portugal, where he committed a foolish penalty. He only played 6 games during the season. You can read here his performance in the season 2016/17.

This will be the second loan for Fabio Coentrao, who left also Real Madrid in 2015/16 to go to Mónaco. The loan wasn’t successful then, because the Portuguese didn’t play a lot, he got injured and he missed the Euro, where his national team won the cup.

“Very happy for having the opportunity of playing in this great club”, Fabio Coentrao said on Twitter. In his early days, Coentrao played with Benfica, Sporting Portugal rival. Actually Real Madrid paid around €30M to sign the defender from Benfica, but he struggled to convince Real Madrid supporters about his quality.

The deal was closed some weeks ago but Real Madrid had to made the official announcement. And finally we have it. Theo Hernández is the first acquisition for the next season, coming from Atlético Madrid after playing one season on loan at Alavés.

Real Madrid will pay €26M to his city rival in three steps for the player. The French left back will be unveiled next Monday, at 18:30 UK Time. In the next days, Florentino Pérez will present his two new signings for the next season: Jesús Vallejo and Theo Hernández. Santiago Bernabéu stadium is getting ready for this moment.

“Real Madrid C.F. and Atlético de Madrid have agreed the transfer of the player Theo Hernández, who will be contracted to the club for the next six seasons”, the statement published in Los Blancos site says.

Los Blancos showed their interest in the left back at the end of the last season, when Alavés were already saved from relegation and in the final of Copa del Rey. The club moved very quickly and they were willing to pay the release clause to Atlético Madrid. They want to keep good relationships with the city rivals, so they finally paid a little bit more than what it was stipulated in the contract.

In this way, Real Madrid will finally have a good replacement for Marcelo, who is the owner of the left wing. Last season, Nacho had to play many games as a left back and even Danilo or Carvajal had to perform in this position. Fabio Coentrao left the club to play on loan at Sporting Portugal after a terrible season in the Spanish capital.

Florentino Pérez is trying to sign the young talents in the Spanish league. The club started with Marcos Asensio and Jesús Vallejo and now Theo Hernández is the next step. Perhaps, in the next days, we can say that Dani Ceballos will also join the club.

Real Madrid workers are preparing the Santiago Bernabéu stadium for the first unveilings of the summer. Theo Hernández, whose signing has still to be announced officially, and Jesús Vallejo will be the first unveilings of the season. Florentino Pérez is working to get more players on board, but some sales need to be done before.

Theo Hernández is already in Madrid, but Los Blancos have not made official the deal with the player. Real Madrid will play around €26M for the left-back, who is Atlético Madrid property. He was playing on loan at Alavés last season and he’ll be Coentrao’s replacement, who has joined Sporting Portugal.

Theo Hernández’s unveiling will be on Friday or on Monday, depending the newspaper you read. Anyhow, the French defender will part of the squad next season and he should add some quality and freshness to the left-back.

The other unveiling that will take place at the stadium will be Jesús Vallejo one. Although Real Madrid signed him two years ago from Zaragoza, the club wants to prepare a press conference and an official act for him at the stadium. Vallejo played the first season on loan at Zaragoza and last year he travelled to Germany to play at Eintracht Frankfurt. He was also part of the Spanish national team under-21 in the last European championship.

Jesús Vallejo will be the fourth full-back in the squad, replacing Pepe, who joined Besiktas this week. However, Vallejo might have a lot of minutes, especially if Danilo finally leaves the club, so Nacho could also perform as a right back.

These will be the first pieces of the new project for the season 2017/18. Real Madrid continue with their policy of signing young players who have experience in the top European leagues. Dani Ceballos could be the next one to arrive, if Real Madrid beat FC Barcelona in the race for the midfielder.

After many rumours and talks with China, Inter Milan, PSG or Besiktas, Pepe finally travelled to Turkey to sign with the Istanbul team. The former Real Madrid defender will join Besiktas and he’s already showing his image in the social media with the Besiktas t-shirt.

Pepe didn’t want to renew his contract with Real Madrid because the Spanish club was offering one year deal. The Portuguese defender wanted to sign a two-year contract although he’s 34 years old, so Los Blancos didn’t want to risk with the player. His contract expired on the 30th of June, so he was a free agent to negotiate with any other club.

The defender had offers from China offering him a lot of money, but he could also sign with any European top club. PSG and Inter Milan were the clubs showing more interest, but Pepe would have faced a lot of competence in both teams. Besiktas also tried to convince him to join the Turkish League and the club even travelled to Lisbon to convince the player and the agent.

After the Confederations Cup, Pepe had to make a decision and he finally chose Besiktas, a team that will play the next Champions League. The Portuguese defender travelled this Tuesday to Istanbul and he shared on Instagram a picture of the Vodafone Arena, the Besiktas Stadium near the Bosphorus.

@Besiktas bu sene ?

After 10 years defending the white t-shirt and after winning three Champions League titles, Pepe left the club without a proper farewell. The Portuguese defender was mad at Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Pérez because, he said, that they didn’t speak with them. However, the club offers him a fair one-year contract, but the Portuguese felt offended because he wanted to seal his future with two more years at the club. Hopefully, he can show also his quality in Turkey, although it will be far away from the top European leagues.
